Stopped by here on Sunday after Winterfest. Saw this was a new place so I wanted to check it out of course! Right when you walk in from the outside before you go into the main area there is a list of what is on tap to the left. I could see from this they were not messing around.
A- This place just looks new. It seemed to me there was wood panel over everything. As soon as you walk in you can see the brewery part behind glass right there. Family style seating toward the right of the brewpub with the bar on the left. Give me the bar seating please.
Q- From what I had and tasted from the other guys who were with me I was impressed. This brewery came out swinging and from what I had hit the nail on the head perfectly. Beers were balanced yet full of multi-flavors. Nothing was off and they came served in non-chilled glasses which for some reason has been the flavor of the month at a ton of bars (beer bars too) I have been to latley.
S- Service was great. Actually our bartender (Caitlyn...which if this is the wrong spelling someone BM me and I'll change it up) was more than informative and actually knew what she was talking about. Didn't try to talk dumb to us and gave us her honest opinion on beers there and well other beers in the bar. They need to keep not only her but others like her to stay on top of the game. Never had an empty glass and samples were given nicely and not like it was a waste of their time for pouring it.
S- They have a selection that really is well rounded for coming right out the door. Six packs of other craft beer were sitting around as well in a large multi-door cooler. Even if I didn't like craft beer I could find something here that I could drink. I actually have to give them a lot of credit as it seems they looked into what a beer customer would want and hit styles on all levels of beer geekness.
Overall this place not only serves up great beer and fantastic service but the overall price is amazing. You can get a 8% stout growler filled for the same price as a 4.5% wheat. Oh and no snifters for the high alcohol beers...pint glasses are used on them just like the rest of their line-up. Do yourself a favor and stop on by. You will not regret it.

This place was outrageous! In a good way. First thing I noticed was that everything looked BRAND NEW...and that was from the outside. We walk in and the place has automatic doors like a grocery store or something. Then I'm pretty astonished by the super clean, super shiny, super in your face brewery behind the glass, accompanying and large, open, upbeat sports bar type atmosphere. I'm very attentive to detail so I wanna say I was really impressed by the entire walls being built out of cedar planks and the rustic plain block bar frame structure along with the picnic tables for seating. A lot to take in at this place. So finally we sit down and have some samplers of the beers and they were all very exceptional! I could ramble on and on but basically this place was doing some pretty spectacular things. Whoever invested in this place spent a pretty penny. I highly recommend if you're in Indy!

Scotty's Thr3e Wise Men is a wonderful brewpub. The atmosphere is fun and friendly, and I find it interesting that (due to the long 'picnic' table designs of the seating) you might find your party seated next to another group. It's not hard to have your own thing going on, but also can make it fun to meet new people.
The whole place is well lit and not overdone, and the free wi-fi is a huge bonus as well.
Service is excellent, with my server being friendly, polite, and prompt. She was also quite knowledgable about the beer selections. I even had two managers stop by to make sure everything was going well.
Food selection is decent, but with the awesome pizza they have, I don't know if I'll ever order anything else from there. I also like the popcorn they bring out as a free appetizer.
Beer selection is very good, as they have several styles they brew on-site. Whether you're looking for a light beer (blond and wheat) or something hoppy (both APA and IPAs are available) or something thick and dark (great coffee porter and wonderful imperial stout), you'll find something. There are also guest beers in bottles that round everything out nicely.
You can get samples (up to three at a time) if you want to try everything to see what you really like. (My personal favorites are the nut brown and the impy stout, as of now.)
Like I mentioned, the pizza was incredible. I got only pepperoni, just to see what the pizza was like, and I was not disappointed at all.
Thr3e Wise Men will definitely be a stopping point for me when I'm in the Broad Ripple area.

The Atmosphere is awesome. Big glass windows let you view the brewing tanks. PLace has nice wooden benches on tables for sittting. A nice big horseshoe shaped bar. Has Tv and music but neither is to over powering.
The Service was great. Very knowledgeable about the beer and food.
Selcetion is limited alittle bit but the quality of the food is not. Everything i have had there is exceptional and would get again.
Overall this is one of my new favoite places. Just wish it was 5 min away instead of 1 hr. away. It has the great feel of a restaraunt/bar but neither are to overpowering. They make great beer there. Def. check this pace out you wont be dissapointed

This was my first BrewPub in Indianapolis, IN and what a great area to be in! The Broad Ripple Village was full of bars, restaurants, brewpubs, and cycling, which are all favorites of mine! Looking like a town off the coast of California, the streets are very inviting and the Thr3e Wise Men is located at the East side of the village.
Walking in, it reminds me of an Austrian Brewery with its big tables with over 10 seats available and an Oberweis or milk house for some reason. There are tons of fridges with guest beer and growlers and it is very "Clean" everywhere. Has a log cabin build to the inside and has a nice looking patio on the outside.
Like I said, everything was clean and presented very fashionable. The beer was above average and was pleased with what we received.
The service was one of the best parts of the experience here! It seemed as if Broad Ripple had a very tight knit community because our bartender and other staff helped us locate other good brewpubs and bars in the area that served what we were looking for. She also was very knowledgeable about their own beers and this is extremely important. Props to Thr3e Wise Men!
The selection was great but limited the day we came in... Both their cask beer and seasonal were not available but this was okay. They had 6 of their own beers on tap and then 4-5 guest taps (can't remember). They also had a great selection of bottles that you could buy by the 6-pack and take home.
While they only had pizza and sandwhiches, we decided to wait til later on that day to have our lunch.
With having 3 beers on the "Sample Paddle", 3 pints, and unlimited popcorn, this place was great! We will be back if we are in Indianapolis soon.

This is a large, modern brewpub in a strip mall in the Broad Ripple neighborhood. The interior is dominated by wood accents. When you walk in, nearly the entire far wall is a window that looks out at the brew kettles. A large U-shaped bar is to the left, which is where we sat on 3 of our 4 visits.
Three Wise Men features 6 or so beers on tap at any given time. True, it's not the largest selection, but it certainly makes it easier to decide. We sampled 4 of the 6 on our most recent back-to-back visits and took home a growler of the seasonal hefeweizen. All the beers were good but nothing terribly unique.
Food was good all around. We especially liked the dill chips, which were a good complement to the beer. The pizzas are also popular.
Prices were about average.
We were impressed with the service at the bar, which got busy at times, especially on Sunday, which is apparently the day when everyone--and I do mean everyone--comes in to get their growler(s) filled. Despite that, the bartenders were always prompt and courteous.
Three Wise Men is our favorite brewpub (so far) in the Indianapolis area. We make it a point to go there for a beer or two when we are in town.

Visited Thr3e Wise Men for lunch before heading up I-69 and east towards home Sunday. Thr3e Wise Men stands alone in front of a strip mall in the Broad Ripple area of Indianapolis. Walking in, the decor looked more like a ski lodge than a pizza place. Wood paneling and padded picnic tables stood out in the large open room. A large rectangular bar stood to the left of the entrance, and that's where we sat.
I opted for "Goose the Sandwich" which was a pizza dough bread filled with capocollo, mortadella, pepperoni, spinach, roasted red pepper spread, mozzarella cheese. (Goose refers to a local meat vender?) Homemade potato chips were served on the side. My brother ordered a small pizza "spicy something?" from the specials list. Both meals were good, but I'd say the sandwich was better than the pie. (not downgrading the za, the sandwich was just that tasty!)
I opted for a three glass sampler with Golden Zoe IPA, Centennial Martyr Double IPA, and Schweddy Ball-tic Porter. All were solid brewpub beers. The Schweddy was my favorite in both name and taste.
Our bartender was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. She was good with her customers and was quick in reacting when a growler she filled broke, narrowly avoiding soaking a fellow patron. No panic, just quick reaction, cleanup and customer service. (a reevaluation of their growler cleaning/filling procedure is needed)
Really great sandwich, good pizza good beer and good staff.

A: Brewpub is about 1 yrs old, maybe a bit older. Looks like a giant beer log cabin, everything is wood on the inside. Glass wall allows patrons to see the brewery operation. Tv's everywhere, great place to catch a game.
Q: Good quality fresh beer. Bottle selection is kept currnet and rotated regularly. Have never had a bad beer.
S: Excellent service.
S: Usually 5-6 house brewed beers. One or two guest taps of a different/non-competitive style. Always one house beer on cask. Bottle selection is good.
F: Great bar food. Pizzas, calzones, wings. All very good and made fresh. Sides are a salad or kettle chips, which are amazing. Carry out special is a large pie and a growler for $20!
V: Very reasonably priced, especially if you go on a pint special night.

This place gets a solid 4 because it wasn't the best brewery/restaurant I have been in but it was certainly pretty good. First time I went in with my girlfriend and got a flight of four beers to give them a general overview on beer quality. Pretty decent from what I had but I will have to do a review on a couple of beers when I get a chance to get in there again...which may be this weekend. Anyway, I wish I could go to their releases but I'm just a little too far away. Will definitely be going back and recommend this to anyone passing through Broad Ripple.

Stop 210 on my quest to visit every quality brewery/brewpub in the world.
Made this stop right after being denied entrance to Sun King tap room because this absent-minded 40 year old forgot his drivers license. Drove 15 minutes north to Portland concentrated "Brew" Ripple which has the BR Brewpub, Brugge, Barley Island, Upland tap room, and now Thr3e Wise Men.
Plenty of parking in the strip mall next door. Small outsite curb-side dining and an impressive grain bin that seemed more ornamental than functional.
Wife and I sat at the bar with a nice view of the prominent brewing gear behind glass. Lots of wood and antler racks to hang your coats. Is this the manger where Jesus was born?
I liked the 6 oz three beer sampler for $5. Went with Hefe, IPA, and DIPA the first round. Next round was blackberry wheat, coffee porter, and Irish Stout. Passed on the blonde which they were offering on cask as well.
What stood out to me was the DIPA was an easier drinker than the IPA and I really enjoyed the roasty Irish stout. Wished the coffee porter had more pronounced coffee (from local roaster Hubbard and Cravens). Most of the lighter beers lacked mouthfeel but were still good.
Bartender said DIPA was the most popular beer because it had the highest alcohol for the same price (pint/growler) as the others and one could get drunk faster.
Did not eat but the pizza looked very good.
It's an easy walk to Barley Island, Brugge, and the BR Brewpub from here.
