While this beer pours a gold yellow body with little head, that dissipate instantly.

There is no smell or there is a metalic smell.

The alcoholic flavor is surprising but terrible. Surprising given the 4,6% of alcohol that hints refreshing beer, but reveals itself as a sickening beer with some bottles behind.

The mouthfeel isn't good with alcohol warmth and much carbonation.

A real poor "pilsener" as the brazilian calls this bad american adjuct lager.

Almost a copy paste of other mass Brazilian lagersPale yellow color. Head dissipates quickly. Smells mostly grains other than barley-malt and metalic, dependant on temperature.
Tastes lager with just a small hint of hops and  addition of water. Taste is also not consistent on different temperatures, as it warms up gets a little metalic. Some unpleasant sweetness from cheap cereals, and a little funky aftertaste.
Beer to drink close to freeze temperatures, to hightlight refreshness from its lightness and high carbonation. The tap chopp version , specially the dark one tastes much better, probably given its freshness. I guess aging is a killer for those type of pseudo pilseners.
Intersting that I have the impression that Brazilians slams this beer more than others, probably given the exotic effect are nule to them (including this brazuca one).

Quite a light golden straw colour with a thin, centimetre tall head that is bubbly and turns to a soapy lacing after about twenty seconds.

Corn & bread with a little touch of light, grassy hops and a background skunky aroma that isn't helped by the clear bottle of the beer. There is some basic cheap adjuncts in the way of malts as well but the beer isn't offensive in any way and smells better than a lot of cheap pale lagers out there.

Corn and bread along with some malt like adjuncts and a grassy hop background taste. There is a little bit of citrus lemon in there and a slightly acidic taste.

Light but not watered down, slightly grainy but not overly and with medium to strong carbonation and a wet, crisp finish and some sort of citrus tang as well.

Not a great lager but easy drinking and goes down well meaning it will still be my go to beer when no craft offerings are available. Not great but decent as a session beer if nothing else is on offer.

Straight pour from 350ml can to a small, maybe 8oz glass tumbler that’s basically an old Mason jar, except not a Mason jar, and Brazilian. Freshness and batch info clearly printed in black ink underneath the kick-up of the can (“151012 NR17:162”), indicating an October 15, 2012 freshness date.

Appearance (4.0): Absolutely clear, pale, straw-yello body capped by a fluffy, one-finger head that actually recedes relatively slowly and leaves some clumpy lace all around as it goes. This actually looks pretty good!

Smell (3.5): There’s actually a pretty nice, grassy, herbal scent that comes through in the nose. It’s not VERY strong or aromatic, but it’s a nice scent. There’s a very light, simple, crackery pale malt tone underneath, and there’s another, almost botanical note underneath that I can’t pin down . . . it’s very light, though.

Taste (3.0): Whatever potential hop character there was in the nose is largely absent from the taste. There’s a slightly soapy flavor behind the malt body here. The hops might be making up a vaguely grassy character in the finish, but it’s very light and that’s it. The malt, meanwhile, is very light and plain, almost bready but not as rich—like water crackers. Slightly vegetal in the finish. This has a distinctly lager-ish snap in the malt finish, too.

Mouthfeel (2.5): Quiet, moderately foamy carbonation that isn’t sharp or crisp at any point here. It’s extremely light-bodied and quenching, which is nice, and just barely on the dry side. If there are session beers and non-session beers, this is for pounding.

Overall (3.0): Hey, y’know what, this isn’t so bad, for the style. It’s light, it’s simple, it doesn’t have a ton of character, but it is what it is, is at no point offensive in any way, and it does what it’s supposed to do, at least as well as any of its counterparts in the mainstream, Brazilian macro market. This is a decent AAL.
