Coffeey, roasty, blah blah blah, it's a stout, just drink it, it's really good.

A - Poured out a jet-black color with a three-finger, light brown head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass.
S - It smelled of chocolate, toffee and roasted oats.
T - Good roasty flavor with nice chocolate and coffee taste. Some sweet caramel and toffee in the background, too.
M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A light to medium bodied ale with a dry finish.
O - This is a good stout. $9.99 for a 750 is a bit steep for a low ABV stout, though.

Appearance: Very dark, but not opaque. Chocolate dark.
Nose: milk chocolate malts, coffees, dark malts, and sweet malts.
Taste: roasted malt, coffee, hints of sweet malt, with a milk chocolate that brings out a sweeter side.
Mouthfeel: Silky smooth. Strong point of this beer. Spot on for the style.
Overall: its a very accessible American stout that works for a good intro into craft stouts. Not overly impressed but bet that this one with some barrel aging would be really good.

Pours a black color. 1/5 inch head of an off-white color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of roasted malt, slight sweet malt, and dry hop. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of roasted malt, coffee, hint of sweet malt, and slight dry hop. Overall, good blend and feel; the coffee is especially delicious.
