grabbed at the brewery about a week ago.

poured cold and a nearly opaque dark chocolate brown from the growler to a sun king shaped pint glass with a 1/2 finger short lasting tan head.

big chocolate-y aroma followed by buttery brown sugar and dark nuts.

yum. dark chocolate, smoky, nutty, sweet dark sugars.

big bodied, smooth creamy, light to medium carbonation, super sweet, though not cloying or to distraction.

drinkable - very. an enjoyable beer. chocolate - as advertised, but much bigger bodied than i had expected.
