Clean, clear pale gold body, and short-lived white foam. Has a light malt aroma; corn and cereals, odd rubbery note, cardboard, hint of alcohol and floral hop? Medium bodied, dry texture, and a spritzy carbonation. Gritty malt body, bread, cardboard, hint of hop and light fruits. Fairly bland and grainy. Drinkable, but rather boring.

Format: a chunky 500mL brown bottle with an okay Euro label.
Appearance: pours a clear golden amber with a finger of decent white foam sitting on top.
Aroma: a limited aroma of grain and a touch of hops. Okay at best.
Taste: a bit sweeter on the palate - still definitely that grain character with a small amount of yeast and a touch of fruit. Hides its ABV quite well.
Aftertaste: ends a bit dry, with those yeasts and the fruit coming back. Okay.
Mouth feel: medium in body with an okay carbonation. Quite smooth for a lager. The feel is the best part of this beer.
Overall: a pretty standard and not terribly exciting Euro Pale Lager. Not a bad price at AU$70 for a case of 24 x 500mL, but I'd still really just rather a cheaper Aussie macro lager.

Poured from 500mL bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: dark golden hue with a big haze and almost no head. There are also some big floaties of yeasty sediment in the body, but this is probably due to storage. In any case, not an outstanding look for a pale lager.
Smell: sweet, sweet, sweet malt with a light yeasty character. There's a light fruitiness, and it is an OK quality of aroma, but it's definitely more of a "strong lager" aroma than a "pale lager" aroma. Not horrible, but I don't love it.
Taste: sweet malt flavor which, again, isn't bad, but is definitely more of a strong lager character. Decent, but definitely on the side of too-sweet.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a decent creaminess. Actually, the texture is quite good here -- I rather like it.
Overall: kind of a strange beer. Not my favorite, but it's not really offensive in any way. It may be miscategorized as a "Euro pale lager" rather than a strong lager.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is citrus with some grain. The flavor is corn, grain and lemons. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not much going on with this beer. While there is nothing wrong with the beer and it is not hard to drink, there is really nothing about it that makes me want to try it again.

imperial pint into a pokal. freshness date clearly marked.
pours a pale yellow with a big white head that quickly calms to a thin cap. certainly doesn't look exciting.
smells sorta sweet, cardboardy and musty. i'm also getting some light fruit, though i can't pick out anything specific.
taste is mostly sweet malt with a little bit of spice. hop character is mild at best. reminds me of a pilsener without the bitterness.
light in body with medium carbonation.
very drinkable, but not quite a session beer. this beer was actually much better than i was expecting. probably not worth searching for, but at $1.50/pint, it's worth picking up if you come across it..

I had out of a bottle.
A- Gold color with a slight reddish hue. It has a big foamy head that leaves some lacing. It's very bubbly.
S- Smells kind of like cardboard.
T- It's very malty, and it has a kind of grape aftertaste. It Fruity and carbonated. Some spice to it, perhaps a touch of cinnamon. Solid, but too sweet to drink a lot.

Got this bottle at Surdyk's in Twin Cities, Minnesota last week. This one is 7 % abv, but is labeled "Zamkowe 1321 EXTRA BEER PIVO JASNE PELNE". Poured with a big off-white head that mostly faded and no lace. Color is a clear gold amber. Aroma was malty, leather, sweet, caramel. Flavor is malty and sweet with a very slight hop. Some body and carbonation isn't bad. Too sweet tho. Finish is just that: too sweet. Glad I only bought one bottle.

Poured a predominantly yellow color with hues of yellow orange. Into a samuel smiths nonic pint glass.
Smells of lemon zest with a light grassy aroma behind the lemon.
Tastes a bit with hoppy and a little bit of lemoney grassy undertones. And there's this this other flavor that I can"t put my finger on, it's similar to overly sweetened green tea.
Mouthfeel is carbonated with a semi dry finish.
Its very drinkable but I'm not sure I'd have another one.

Not sure which Zamkowe beer I have as my bottle looks nothing like the photos posted. Has an Est. 1321 and in small print on the bottle it says "Piwo Jasne Pelne" which I believe means real ale. After smelling and tasting the beer I would describe it as a German Pilsner.
Pours a light golden color with a large white head that lasted awhile. It eventually settles to a thick cap and some spotty lacing is left on the glass during consumption.
Very distinct Noble hop aroma, black pepper and an earthy quality.
Nice spicy hop flavor blends well with the light malt. Also has a slightly citrus note on finish. Not sweet at all.
Light body with lively carbonation. Has a body without being overwhelmed by fizzy carbonation.
I enjoyed this beer. After reading other reviews of this brewery, I wonder if I got a totally new beer. Definately a pilsner and not just a basic Pale Lager. I would be more than happy to drink more of this.

Zamkowe 'extra' pours a semi-transparent, light bending, orange/brown color with a 1 finger white head with some sticking and moderate visible carbonation. It has a semi sweet nose of pale/light caramel malts and not much else. A malty sweetness first appears when tasting, some spice and dead fruits, a touch of hop-twang upon the finish. A boozy and standard strong Euro lager, this beer reminds me of Denmark and drinking strong Carlsberg brew all day everyday. It is alas pretty drinkable despite its medium, semi coating, almost grainy body.

This is my mid-week websurfing brew.
My bottle says Zamkowe EXTRA. At 7.0% is it a EPL or ESL?
Poured with a nice big head that settled to a ring but left a fine lace about the glass.
Has a mildly grainy aroma..Not much here.
Taste is sweet, crisp grainy malt with a biting carbonation, medium bodied with a dry, sweet finish. A little alcohol zip at the end.
Light enough for a hot day yet strong enough to make you forget the heat. Pretty good.

This beer pours a huge head that quickly falls away to a thin film of tight bubbles. Golden yellow body with an even but sparse trickle of carbonation rising. Aroma is weak, just a touch grainy. It looks and smells like any generic American lager. Flavor is about on par with the aroma and appearance. A bit sweet and bready. Very slight hop bitterness in finish. The flavors are just too muted and weak to leave an impression. Mouthfeel is a bit oily and slick, but only very slightly. Carbonation makes a brief appearance here cutting the little bit of viscosity present. A fairly drinkable beer if only for its wallflower character. Bland and forgettable, but utterly inoffensive.

Poured perfectly into a Guinness imperial pint glass. Very active carbonation, 3/4 inch thick head. Interesting yeast smell present that I didn't really expect. Creamy malt aroma with German smelling hops. The beer is a thick golden color. Looks surprisingly good. The taste isn't bad either, IMO. Thick, smooth, peppery, and well balanced. Slight corny effect at the end, but it's quickly shot down by a short, but pungent alcohol bite. I got this beer on sale for $1.13 and figured it was going to be crap, but I think it's rather decent. A strong, cheap, polish beer...
P.S.
I met a Polish guy at a party once and after a few drinks he tried to tell me politely, (or maybe not so-) after a few more, that "[We] Americans drink, 'how do I say it...' woman beer". Funny, and honest. If this is his Budweiser, then he was correct.
