Decided to stop by here since I was meeting up with a fellow BA for an IP trade in Woodridge.
From the outside it looks like a typical liquor store. When you walk in you are greeted by a friendly person behind the counter. Everything is in order, albeit random. I walked over to the beer coolers and noticed the old style of Arctic Panzer Wolf (over a year old DIPA) but then saw the new version also. So that was a little bit off putting. They had a great fall display with tons of pumpkin and Oktoberfest beers. The beer aisle it relatively small though it has a decent selection. There was nothing particularly “rare” available here, however, I did pick up one last bottle of Askew there (it’s been out at other stores) and they did have about 8 Parabola priced at just under fifteen dollars.
After the initial greeting no one asked me if I needed help despite my perusing the section for a good ten minutes and having a few employees walk by me. Honestly, this doesn’t bother me and I won’t ding them for this. I was not actively looking for help and I can safely say if I were to have given that “I need help” look I would have been immediately serviced.
All in all, not a bad little store. Worth a stop if in the vicinity. Prices were average to a little below.

Hidden gem in the middle of nowhere... stopped in just to see what might be around. Found an extensive craft selection at this family-owned shop. Inside it was a little disorganized, but there were some interesting selections to be found. Beer was in the back coolers, and a few coolers to the right of the aisle shelves too. One aisle held import singles and bombers, faced by a long aisle of sixers.
Some Goose reserve line bombers, including '09 Sofie and BCBS and even Red Felt. Some from Moylan's, Rogue, FFF Moloko, and more. Full line of sixers from Bells, including TCOA and Expedition. SN Celebration, Duvel, Ommegang, Dark Horse, also Argus, a newer Chicago brewery. For a hole in the wall type of place, there was really a respectable selection. Whiskey selection was pretty nice too.
The staff were genuinely friendly and good-natured, cracking jokes and greeting everyone that came in. That goes a long way in my book. They really seemed to care about their patrons. I'll return here if passing through the area again.
