Notes:
Voraciously hoppy and not overly bitter. The Kind brings enormous aroma and maximum flavor. It's like taking a walk through a pine forest and ending up at a citrus farm. This beer brings joy to the world, one sip at a time.

A kind ipa indeed. Smooth and calm hop tones that set a nice consistent profile. At first I thought it was dropping off quickly, but I think the subtlety of it has to be given time to adjust to, since my palate is probably waiting for a hop bomb to hit. Smooth feel, which is the word on this beer. I like a lot

On tap in a pint glass.
A-Light golen color, slight haze, minimal white head on this pour that faded to a thin film and left heavy rings of lacing. It comes in as a lighter looking brew than a typical IPA, but holds up with great lacing and an inviting 'drink-up' look.
S- Big strong hop aroma, thick pine and lots of citrus hops. Grapefruit and lemon.
T- Lots of citrus hops, grapefruit and lemmony. The citrus hop flavors lead the way followed by some maltiness and the pine.
M- Good body and carbonation, oily and resinous. There's plenty of hop zip and bitterness on the finish.
O- I wish that I had more than two of these. I'm sure it'll be a while before I can get it again.

Poured a cloudy gold with good head and lace on top of a mild, hoppy aroma that gives off some pine and citric notes along with touches of caramel and barley/bready malts. Not the most hoppy or flavorful IPA but it gets the job done. Citric hops balance with some mild caramel malt sweetness for a classic medium bodied IPA that is smooth with both touches of hoppiness and sweetness, and then has that classic crisp finish familiar to an IPA drinker. Not one of the better IPAs because the flavors are muted and a tad watered down and there isn't much more to the fruit flavor than citric hops (you will not get that grapefruit sensation). Still, a pretty decent IPA that is worth trying.

The beer is golden hued with a small white head. The aroma brings tropical citrus, hops. Very nice. The flavor imparts citrus, hops, mild alcohol and a touch of lemongrass. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Pretty tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A: Pours a golden yellow color with slightly less than a fingers worth of head that reduces to a thin cap
S: Citrus and pine hops come through, along with a good helping of slightly spicy malts
T: Follows the nose. Refreshing citrus fruitiness and pine come through for the hops, followed by some bready malts and a hint of spiciness. Finishes lightly bitter
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A hint of oiliness and stickiness from the hops
O: A nice, simple IPA that isn't in your face or overwhelmingly hoppy but still has a good hop kick flavor and aroma-wise. Worth a purchase

LOOK: Copper colored, very clear, decent lasting head, appears fairly well carbonated, appears fairly thick.
SMELL: Strong grapefruit. A bit of dank. A bit piney, a bit lemony,
TASTE: Fairly typical IPA, bitter grapefruit, again a bit of dankness, catty, pine. A lot like the aroma. The malt playing a bit of a role, just a bit of sweetness at the end tempers the bitterness a little bit. I don't find this particularly complex or unique, not bad, just nothing great.
FEEL: Fairly heavy mouthfeel for an IPA, a little slick, maybe from alcohol? A bit prickly. Dry from hops, but everything else is a bit too heavy.
OVERALL: Again, not bad, nothing special, a little drier would have been nicer, some more flavor to balance bitterness and more interesting hop flavor other than grapefruit would have been nice as well.

Three Heads Brewing : The Kind IPA
LOOK: Pale golden color, with a white foam collar and good lacing. Has a chill haze and appears to be unfiltered.
SMELL: Grapefruit juice, floral and pine. Just a hint of malt sweetness.
TASTE: A well rounded beer, with pale and crystal malts giving the balancing sweetness to accompany the bitter hop onslaught. Notes of grapefruit zest, lemon juice, and wet grassy herbal character make for a uniquely satisfying hop profile.
FEEL: Light to medium bodied, ample carbonation. Not much of a hop bite and certainly not dry. This beer is even a bit juicy.
OVERALL: An impressive IpA. I wish I could get this beer more often. Cool bottle art as well and a pretty apt name.
