On-tap at Tørst in NYC, served in a large wine glass.
A- Pours a dark, opaque blueberry/purple color, has a nice inch of pinkish head, which has great retention and leaves a lot of delicate lacing. It looks awesome.
S- Has a subtle aroma of blueberry flesh, which really starts to come out as the beer warms, there's also a very nice earthy funk, oak and wheat. The aroma is very nice and pretty complex for a Berliner.
T- Tastes great, the tartness is moderate to high, spot-on for a Berliner, mostly lactic acid with a hint of acetic, finishes with a lingering flavor of blueberry skins and juice.
M- Light-bodied, with a tart, dry feel.
O- I was really impressed by this. I had this just a few days after Hunahpu Day, where I tried a lot of great Berliners from Funky Buddha, and this beer is definitely on par with a lot of the best Florida Berliners. I had only had big stouts from Evil Twin before, so it was also cool to see Jeppe do such a different style and to totally nail it. This is a great beer, definitely seek this out.

Bottle at torst
Light pink head. Color is a red grape purple. Very nice.
Flavors of tart blueberries and light acidity. Wine barrel flavors. Sour and tart. A bit funky. Ends with a touch of medicinal flavor.
Mouthfeel: bubbly and clean. Light bodied with a good amount of carbonation. Ends very clean.
Overall, this was a really great Berliner. Very easy to drink with the right amount of tartness.
