Apparently this one was made by putting a ham shoulder in with the brew for 2 months.
Had during Brewvival 2012! Served from tap into a Brewvival sampler imperial pint. Poured dark brown with a minimal tan head. There was no lacing evident throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, roasted malt, ham, and bread. The flavor was of sweet malt, roasted malt, ham, bread, and peat. It had a medium feel on the palate with mild carbonation. Overall this was a good brew. I was a little skeptical about this one going into it if they could actually incorporate the ham flavor like the name of the brew insisted. However, they pulled it off quite well. The slight peat aspect I picked up on was a little surprising however, but not palate invasive at all. Definitely a good job at incorporating a food product into a brew successfully. Tick.
