22 oz. Bomber.
This has been a huge want of mine for a long time. Now I got it. Theres nothing negative to say about this brew. Enough chitchat lets describe this brew for you!
First when you pop this top smoke comes out like a barrel of a smoking gun. Then when poured, it is jet black with a dense mocha head. The roasted malts coat the glass while I twirl it around. Very entertaining brew.
Now forth with the aroma! Huge barrel notes with hints of the original Biscotti Break. Huge oak and vanilla notes that make love in your nostrils. The mixture is complete balance with the coffee and chocolate cookie crumble of IBB. This smells phenomenal!
The flavor is just as the aroma details with more malt sweetness. Chocolatey cookie crumble, coffee roast and vanilla is just outstanding to the point I just want to taste this beer forever. The bourbon notes comes together nicely toward the finish, bringing toasted oak to the drinker's taste buds. This brew finishes sweet, syrupy and bitter with a balanced dryness. Lingering bourbon and chocolate in the aftertaste.
The feel on the palate medium bodied and smooth. The carbonation tickles the flavors on the palate just enough to make it interesting and not just cough syrup.
Overall: Bam! This is my favorite variant of the IBB. well, i guess you cant go wrong with the base beer either. The flavors are well balanced, sweet and no booze detected (always a good thing). I am simply wowed by this offering on the depth of flavors coming out of it. No lines no gimmicks, this beer is Recommended!

Look is black, with light copper foaming.
Smell is very boozey.
Flavor is not as full and rich and deep as I typically like. There is still complexity to it and a lot going on, which is nice, but the flavors seem to have more of a bitter flavor. I am getting licorice and fig.
Overall, not bad. I wouldn’t turn it down, but not one that I would pay up for another bomber, if there are other options.

Bottle from 2015, consumed April 2021
Bomber into a tulip served at about 63°. Small tan head that quickly dissipated. Dark as cola, some amber when held to the light.
Fudge and bourbon on the nose. Vanilla too. Pre-pastry pastry. Just lovely drawing you in.
Very bourbon forward on the palate. Not much roast. Still super hot. Can’t imagine this fresh. Smooth coffee on the back end. Full bodied to style but not nearly as thick as modern counterparts.
Very satisfying. Great beer worthy of the old money hype.
