My wife and I strolled over her for some after dinner beer after eating in Chinatown.
It's a bit of a dive a freakin small. 8-10 tables, including the modest outdoor section. All sorts of old craft beer bottles decirate the walls and Godzilla's Revenge played on the television with the sound down.
Wr sat at the bar and the waitress was quite friendly and attentive. Considering they only had 8 taps, she wasn't too familiar with what they had there.
8 taps and a cask of local Canadian crafts, includimg their house brewed pale ale. Not too bad for the tiny size and they do a good job of mixing up breweries and styles. We were both able to find something pleasing.
Having just come from dinner we didn't try the food but the burgers I saw on other tables looked great. The prices were a tad steep but not outrageous.
Worth a visit if you're in the area but I'm not sure it'd be worth a trip on it's own.

Came here for dinner and drinks with my girlfriend in May 2011. Tiny little spot that resembles something in between a pizzeria and deli. Maybe ten tables with a few seats at the bar. The patio was busy on our visit.
I ordered the Brunch Burger (fried egg, bacon, maple syrup) and arugula salad; the lady had a custom Cowpoke and fries. Everything tasted fantastic.
Our waitress did her best to please us but she was spread way too thin, so they should put on more staff. Food took a while to arrive and at one point I went to the bar to get my brew.
However, the beer selection is very good. I saw St. Ambroise Pale Ale, Railway City Roundhaus Pilsner, and Lake of Bays Rousse on tap, a Great Lakes cask, and a number of quality bottles from Southern Tier, Bruton, Dieu du Ciel, Brooklyn, and various Ontario crafters. No Randall when we came.
Prices are extremely fair for Toronto (bordering on cheap), as two burgers, two appetizers, and six drinks came to $60 with tip.
Overall, Burger Bar really delivers on the food and beer, and I can see why this place is considered an up-and-comer on the T.O. beer scene.

New rising star, in the Kensington market. Though its concentration is food, Rob has made a firm commitment to Ontario craft beer. Always a cask on, tonight something I never saw before, served at the correct temperature. Eight taps, an the server/bartender was a trained gal from Ireland, no tattoos. everyone working hard, in a funky cozy place with a small bar. The patio, though cozy, will come in handy. The Augusta beer was good and is the base to build their own product line on. A few decent bottles as well. This place will have to expand. The scene was laid back and young couples.

Stopped by this place for dinner and a pint.
Had a decent list of 8 taps but most of the taps were very tame styles with pale ale type beers being the flavour of the day there. On cask they had a nice surprise - Wellington RIS - which all of us ordered a pint of.
We all had a burger & fries, which were excellent. The sweet potato fries are particularly good.
Only stayed for the one pint but this place is definitely worthy of returning to. If you are ever in the mood for a burger I can't think of a better place to go to, unless you want to drink a pint of Coors Light with your burger.
