The wife and I spent one night in Amarillo and chose Crush for our wine-and-dine time out in the town. Good spot!
They now have 14 taps, including three Alaskan handles, Deschutes Inversion, Stone IPA, Coney Island, Oskar G'Rauch and Anderson Valley Oatmeal Stout. No crap here! Alas, the G'Rauch we had was not super fresh and had little smoke on it.
The space is big but sort of unremarkable for such a cool spot, if you know what I mean. They serve great beer and food but the building itself looks like it could have a cheap Mexican restaurant. Still, the best joint in the Polk Street area, no doubt.
I like the big tables with plenty of room to roam, the long bar and the retail section, where you can buy wine and beer to take home. Beer-wise, they have some cool stuff like Left Coast Vodoo, Dogfish Rhizing Bines and a ton of Belgian brews. But make no mistake- their focus is on wine.
I loved the food here- I had some quinoa cakes to die for. Who would have thought I would find quinoa in Amarillo, Texas?? Also, tuna tartare, beer cheese, duck-confit egg rolls... elevated!
Lots of quality cheeses and meats (elk, wild hog, pheasant sausages) to choose from. The wife ordered a Chupacabra pizza that was thick but delicious.
If you care for wine, their selections are very good. And while the tab was not cheap, it sure was worth. Amarillo is lucky to have Crush!

This place is pretty good for Amarillo. Its actually an eatery / bar. The atmosphere is pretty good, no smoking inside which helps with smelling the beers, you can also sit outside. I've not eaten much off the menu there but have had some of the cheese / meat plates, they're a little pricey but tasty.
The beer selection is very pretty good (the best bar selection in Amarillo). I love the on tap selection here, they only have a few on tap (6ish) and it changes a bunch, but the last time I was in there I had Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, Stone IPA and Avery Maharaja.
It is a bit pricey, especially compared to just buying bottles from a store and the food is high, but overall its a great place and my go to bar in Amarillo.
