Served on tap in a 10 oz chalice glass

Appearance – Served a hazy orange yellow color with a one finger white head. The head faded over a moderate time to leave a medium level of lacing.

Smell – The smell was heavy of a sweet Belgian white with a lighter IPA aroma. Biscuit, yeast, and citrus aromas are big, with some lighter aromas of banana and peach mixed within. There are also some nice spicy aromas as well as some floral aromas that round out the flavor along with a light boozy smell.

Taste – The taste starts out sweet and biscuity. The sweetness is a nice mix of citrus tangerine and some sugary candy flavor. As the taste advances some lighter flavors of yeast meet the tongue. The sweetness seems to intensify slightly as the flavor advances on further with more fruity flavors of citrus and some peach and apricot coming to the tongue. These fruit flavors are also accompianied by some spicy and hoppy flavors as well. There are notes of a citrus hop as well as some floral notes. At the end a light boozy flavor meets the tongue and leaves a very satisfying flavor on the tongue.

Mouthfeel –The body of the brew is a little above average in thickness with a carbonation level being on the lower to average side. The carbonation and the body are both very fitting and help to accentuate the nice yeasty and fruity flavors of this strong brew.

Overall – Very tasty. At 10.5 % it is very easy drinking (a somewhat dangerous thing). A good brew to try if you get a chance.
