Just went here last night for a few rounds after work. Really good place to watch the NCAA tourney, lots of TV's all over the place, plus a personal TV in each booth. Food was pretty good, about that same quality as Buffalo Wild Wings. Waitress was nice, decently talkative. Now to the important stuff, the beer. The selection sheet was pretty impressive with plenty of choices from all around the world. However, when we started ordering we ran into too many issues. 2 guys, 4 rounds, 8 beers total. We had to order 13 times to get our 8 beers, i.e. we picked 5 different beers on their menu that they didn't even have in stock. Manager was ok, she gave us a free round because of all the problems. Personally, I don't care about the free round, I want to drink the beer that I want to drink. Won't be going there soon, but I'll gladly head back when they figure out their inventory management.

A good beer bar in Katy, America? Yes. Pub Hub more than suffices as a genuine craft beer option for those west of Houston.
Pub Hub is in a strip mall just south of I-10 in Katy. They have done a good job of defeating the typical strip mall atmosphere, but the interior still has a chain feel to it. Not a ton of character to the place, but it's clean and comfortable.
No qualms with the quality of the beer. Selection-wise I'm torn. On one hand, they have several good America craft beers, and they seek out more than just the typical - they were the first in the Houston area to offer Avery Rumpkin, for example. Seeing Southern Star ProAm and Brewdog Tokio is great. They also have LOTS of BMC if that's your thing, which it is for many people. Pub Hub isn't afraid of catering to both "sides" of the beer drinking population. That's fine. One the other hand, and here is what rubs me the wrong way: almost all offerings have a duplicate tap on the opposite end of the tap wall. Necessary? Doubtful. I feel duped when I see a rather large and impressive tap wall only to notice later that most are duplicates. Maybe that's not a big deal to most people, but to me, it's not a trait of a truly great beer bar.
Great service at the bar. The bartenders seem to love chattin' about beer too. Can't speak for the waiters/waitresses as I've never sat at a table.
Big variety of food on the menu, and it seems to echo the vibe of the place -- your usual pub grub. Can't go wrong with one of the several burger options.
Pub Hub is a good place, and I'd recommend going there if you're in the area.

I visited the Pub Hub with armock, and was very surprised with this generic burgers and wings joint. Very unassuming and almost chain like as we walk in. TV's everywhere, and music playing. A long bar goes along the back with tables and booths scattered about. A very cookie cutter like sports bar.
Luckily pretty much every thing else was really enjoyable. I was really surprised with the selection. I had heard this place had over 100 beers. I was thinking a selection like Yard House or Little Woodrows as the best scenario. Though they have a lot of really good beers. Plenty of local from Real Ale, Southern Star, and Saint Arnold. Live Oak and 512 are coming next. Plenty of Stone, Dogfish Head, and Avery. Old Jubilation was tapped just for us. Tons of Belgians as well. Houblon Chouffe Dobbelen IPA Tripe and Duchesse De Bourgogne both on tap. Lots of bottle that follow the tap selection. They also do special beer releases from breweries like BrewDog (James will be there later this year). No Label will be there when they open as well. A really good selection and the quality is really good as well. Oh ya, forgot that they do growler fills as well.
The service was excellent when we were there. The main bartender new her stuff, talked a lot of shop with us, and is a huge beer geek. Very attentive and incredibly knowledgeable. I don't think the rest of the bar staff is as knowledgeable, but she was great.
Food is greasy pub grub. Nothing special at all. Burgers, wings, etc. They just fry everything, and grill everything in grease. Not bad to fill you up, but nothing I would recommend.
Overall, I really enjoyed my time here. The selection and main bartender made our visit perfect, and I can overlook the generic sports bar theme and mediocre food if she will always be my server. There is not a lot of places in Katy to go for good beer, this is a good one though.
There have been some changes to this place. The great bartender that was there has moved on. Nobody else know anything about the beer, so quality and service has suffered. At first it seems they have doubled up on some tapes. I ask about that, but in reality those are just dummy taps with nothing hooked up. They still carry a hand full of nice beers from Texas and some nice crafts as well. Though this place has gone way down hill in a very short time.

Atmosphere - Its looks and fells like an average burger and wing place with a number of tvs around showing whatever game is on at the moment. However straight on back from the front door the the bar with a pretty damn big tap wall witch was the reason for going here in the first place.
Quality/Selection - Well your not really going to find anything here that isn't already at the better beer bars in Houston but this place is a good bit away from Houston. So If your out on the west side of town this is a new beer destination for you. Locals are present like Saint Arnold, Southern Star, And Real Ale. Quality imports like La Choufe and other Belgians with other quality craft offerings. Either way with 75 taps and a good bottle list there will be something that will interest you.
Service - During my visit my group sat at the bar and was served by an awesome bartendress. I'm pretty sure shes in charge of all things beer here with her extensive knowledge of all the beers they had on hand including the yet to be tapped kegs in the back. She was even nice enough to tell us what kegs she had so we could pick one for an empty tap.
Food - They're a burger and wing place so expect to get a good burger. We got an assortment of appetizers on our visit and they were all very good.
Overall this is a great place to go to in the Katy area to grab some beers and some good food.
