Go this place every other week, simply put it is the best place for beer and food in Fort Wayne. 23 taps I believe and great selection: FFF, flat 12, founders, Brooklyn, schlafly, darkhorse, upland, sixpoint,.lots of great stuff. Always have new art on display, changes every month or two. Servers are knowledgeable but not always attentive, but good haha if that makes any sense. Food is killer get one of their grilled cheeses they're awesome!!! And there's a few to choose from. Great place, great beer.

Downtown FW - 1 minute walk from J.K. O'Donnell's
Atmosphere: Atmosphere is good. Cool DFH clock. Points for being downtown.
Quality: Good for FW. Tapping system is one of a kind I'm told.
Service: Staff should know more about beer lineup. Bartender's too.
Selection: Good for FW. Bottle selection seems to come and go however.
Food: Good for FW. Emily and Nick do a fine job chained to the stove.
Not the best place in FW to get a decent beer (see Trion Tavern), but it could be a lot worse (see Piere's)

The Dash In is located in downtown Fort Wayne. The building is very historic old brick building. You walk in and right away notice the bar with the taps. There is a small stage area in the front where they often have bands. There is a back area which is what I am usually sitting in because the front is always packed when I go. The food is great lunchtime food great paninis grilled cheese sandwiches, I love it.
The beer is the show though. Many brews from DFH are often featured, old rasputin on nitro tap, FBS on tap and bottles. It's got 23 taps and all the craft is solid. They don't list what's on tap on the website though.
It's cheap by my standards, and will go back often.

Dash In is the first bar in Fort Wayne to really step up the quality and variety of beer on tap. The atmosphere changes depending on the bar's calendar and and their hours vary greatly day to day. But overall, if you are looking for a place to get a wide variety of beer, this is it.
I've been going to the Dash In for about a year and a half now. Recently they added 23 taps which have really changed things up. They do not have anything from big beer on tap. Instead they lean towards Arrogant Bastard, Rasputin, and the like. They also have a great bottle selection. The taps are frozen which shows the time and thought into the installation. Pints are reasonably priced averaging 4-5.
Depending on what time you go, atmosphere can vary greatly. I recently went for a mid-day pint and there were a handful of people getting lunch. When bands play, typically the front room is full but you can still find seating or at least stand comfortably in the back area. When bands aren't playing it can vary between busy and dead.
Staff has always been well educated about the beer, friendly, and quick. Overall, if you are looking for a great place to get a good beer and get a great variety, Dash In is the place.

Dash In is located downtown on Calhoun St in a historic old building. It has been there for some time, and frankly I used to hate the place, but when I heard of new owners, and good beer I decided to re-visit.
The beer selection is pretty good, their 23 taps are the most in downtown Ft Wayne. The selection was pretty good, 4 DFH, Leffe Blond, and some FFF, Bells, and Boulevard selections. Several semi-rarities included. Proper glassware was used.
Went there both at lunchtime, and dinner, the lunch menu is much larger ( and better) than the dinner menu.Food is pretty decent overall, with the exception of the crabcake sandwich.
The atmosphere is typical old midwest structure, brick walls, wood floors etc.The place was really crowded at lunchtime, but service was still pretty good. Prices are quite reasonable.
Definately a great addition for the downtown Ft Wayne Beer Advocate.
