Listen up, Locals...I hope I'm not outing your favorite beer store here by doing this (I live in Las Vegas), but any store that sits right on the Beach and has this kind of quality needs to be recognized. Believe me that the success of this place will benefit you much more over time, rather than the personal benefit of trying to keep this joint a secret.

Road trip from Vegas to SoCal to visit a friend. Long story short is that this place is a pure golden beer mine. Tonight I'll be drinking Pliny bottled one week ago (that never happens to me, living here in Vegas). Also walked out with Ballast Point Victory at Sea and Sea Monster...Abacus...fresh Blind Pig...and, lastly but not leastly, something very cool of which I'm sworn to silence. Just unbelievable people and quality there at OceanView. As an "outsider" from Vegas, they treated me like I was a brother. I hope the Beer Gods shine their light down upon them. They deserve it.

...and, if you like GOOD cigars, they have those too in a proper room. This would be my go-to shop if I lived down there, and one that I'll go back to again and again and again. Slam Dunk.

I'm from the east coast and was in HB visiting family. Without a car, I was limited in which stores i hit up, but saw the positive reviews for this place so it was an easy decision. This is a solid store with some easy-going guys working there. The selection of craft beer isn't massive, necessarily, BUT it is all quality stuff. They had some RR in the back and release a limited quantity of the bottles they have...and having never had PtE or Supplication before, i massively appreciated this!! (picked up a bottle of each).

Don't have a lot to compare it to in the greater LA area, but this is a sweet store in a sweet neighborhood.

oceanview is a very unassuming liquor store between hermosa and manhattan beach. from the outside it looks like every other liquor store you've probably been to. but when you go inside it's a different story. that's when you discover it's not your average liquor store anymore.

before you even get to the back cooler you will find an aisle to your left with the new craft beers that they have recently got in. last time i went i found pepe nero, abacus, and much more. once you get to the back coolers you'll find a little more. stuff like lost abbey, ballast point, firestone walker, goose island, stone, russian river and others.

if you don't see what you want just ask, they might just surprise you. the employees are easy to talk to and are helpful. everything you'd expect form a store to close to the beach. this store has quickly become one of my regular beer stops in the westside.

This is a nice little beach city liquor store that stocks some pretty impressive stuff, they have two or three fridges in the back for craft brews, not the hugest of selections, but all quality beer.

The man running the store when i stopped by was Kurt, he was both friendly and knowledgeable. We talked shop for a bit, discussing beers we'd had, or always wanted to try, and during the conversation he was taking notes on some of the beers he plans to stock in the future.

If you're ever in the Manhattan Beach area, check them out, i have a feeling their selection will keep improving as time goes on
