Stopped in after an Indians game. It is right next to the Winking Lizard, and seemed to have a greater variety of beers.
It's a narrow bar, with an upper level and a patio. Plenty of TVs.
It was quite busy, but servers behind the bar were working hard and service was quick and pleasant.
Great selection of beers, posted on a big board behind the bar. Prices ranged from $4.50 to $5.25 a pint. There were some nice surprises, like North Peak Vicious Wheat IPA; Left Hand had a couple, as did Brooklyn.
Didn't try food, but they were on a late night menu of fried stuff and nachos.
All in all, a great beer bar for downtown Cleveland.

Finally decided to stop in to City Tap and grab some grub/beers.
Atmosphere - Typical bar atmosphere, huge bar, tons of tvs. Being a Tuesday night without games the place was very slow. 40+ beers on tap and many more in bottles.
Quality/Selection - I was a little disappointed with the tap list, many were taken up by BMC (which I guess you have to do in order to draw the pre/post game crowd) but nothing jumped out at me.
Service - Very quick but again there were only a handful of people in the place. Typical for week nights downtown Cleveland
F - Food was good, typical bar menu including burgers, wings, sandwiches and wraps.
V - Overall the selection was good enough but not quite what I expected when I heard they had 40+ taps. Also, they didnt have a beer menu which made it very difficult to select a bottle offering. We did however stumble in for "Power Hour" pricing which was the best part about the place, $2 for all beers including all drafts and bottles (Mon-Thurs 8p-9p).

Stopped in recently before Cavs vs. Lakers game.
A: Place was extremely crowded. Bar was packed and finding a seat in the restaurant was difficult as well. Huge board behind bar with all 30+ taps listed with brewery and location.
Q: While I've seen better (Bodegas Columbus comes to mind), this place has an exceptional tap list, hence the name. Lots of Regional favorites (GL, Founders, Dark Horse, Bells, Arcadia, 3 Floyds, etc..).
S: Place was SUPER busy so service was expectedly slow. I never worry about service much, the beer is what I am there for.
F: Don't get the wings. They reminded me of the old mcdonalds buffalo wings. Not impressed
Value: while somewhat pricey, the selection more than makes up for it.
All in all a great place for Cleveland BA's and craft aficionados to avoid the swill drinking crowd that seems to dominate the Gateway District.
