I got a 4pck of tall boy cans of this beer from the brewery whilst passing through Menomonie on the way to LaCrosse from Eau Claire. The beer poured an opaque dark with tan head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had dark roast and chocolate notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet dark chocolate malt base and roast presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

I picked this up during my latest foray into the Midwest, specifically, Madison, Wisconsin & Riley's Wines of the World. They know of The CANQuest (tm) and will do anything and everything to acCANmodate my requests, no matter how bizarre. I love finding new CANs!
From the CAN: "* Craft beer, hand crafted *"; "Friendly With a Glass"; " "Time passes at a constant, much like the changing of the seasons."; "Euphoria and heartbreak[,] jubilation and dispair [sic][,] camaraderie and solitude"; "From our darkest hour to our greatest accomplishments we share a common bond towards one another living for instances of simple enjoyment."; "We made Lucette for each and every one of these moments. [undersigned by the four Cofounders]"
I Crack!ed it open, but rather than using a Slow Hand for the Glug, I went with a heavy hand, creating a pseudo-cascade which settled into two-plus fingers of dense, rocky, light-tan head with moderate retention. Color was Black/Opaque (SRM = 44) with garnet highlights visible only at the edges. Nose smelled mostly of dark chocolate with a light smokiness and nuttiness as remarked upon by previous reviewers. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste had a rich, dark chocolate flavor accompanied by a mild smokiness. It was on the finish that I experienced that peanut-like flavor and I was put in mind of Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl ice cream. It was semi-sweet and while tasty, not really my sort of thing.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of chocolate, toffee and toasted caramel. Sweet chocolate taste with a subtle bitterness.

16 ounce can. Pours almost black with a decent khaki head. Aroma of malt, coffee, and chocolate. Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, and grain. Some char taste at the finish. Very good.

L: Pours deep dense black with a creamy 1” tan foam cap that dissipates within 1.5 minutes. S: Medium to medium high malt flavors featuring chocolate, roast and grain. Low hop aromas. T: Chocolaty, grainy with a light roast backbone. Medium to medium high malt flavors and low hop flavors. Balance to the malt. No harsh or burnt roast flavors. Achieves a nice balance between the chocolate and roast malts. F: Rich, velvety with medium full body, medium to medium low carbonation. O: A very nice, full bodied drinkable creamy tasting stout.

Pours an opaque black with almost no head and no lacing... Smells like licorice and dark malts; very pleasant. Tastes almost like a milk stout, with a smooth milky taste with hints of licorice, milk chocolate, and a little bit of earthiness. Mouth feel is very light bodied for a stout with a smooth almost non-carbonated body. Very nice stout, not overwhelming, but got more going on that just a "session" stout.
