Poured from a 750ml bottle into tulip glass

A- Pours a 2 finger, bright white, lacy head. Golden, straw colored. Small/Medium carbonation bubbles. Head lasts for approx 1 min, much lacing.

S- Macintosh apples, fresh honey, a little funk but very slight.

T-Crisp, light, dry. A little barnyard character on the finish, but tastes remarkably like seltzer water. Very subdued bitterness. Watered down Pilsner qualities.

M- A little thin. I didn't expect much body from a 2.9% beer, but this seems to be purposefully subdued. It would be great to go with crepes on a dry hot afternoon on a patio overlooking the bustle of a city.

O- I think this beer has a place, for sure. Is that place only on a picnic in the summer-time? Maybe. Difficult to "get-into" because it doesn't offer a lot. It's like a beige wall. It's not meant to stand out, but the room would feel too plain if it was "just white". I don't hate it, but I would caution anyone looking for something in this beer, other than "wet".

Pours a cloudy bright straw color, with a fizzy white head. Good retention for the ABV.

Aroma is similar to a weaker pilsner. Not very aromatic, but pleasant. Nice noble hops with a very slight funk and a clear dry smell.

Tastes like a pilsner that's been watered down and taken on some wild yeast. Good noble hop flavor, nice hint of the wild yeast. Pretty much delivers whats promised.

Mouthfeel is light and refreshing, but the carbonation and yeast lend to it's body enough to separate it from something totally watery.

I would drink this again if in a very very specific mood. I'm glad it exists as an example of an old tradition, and it delivers on its promises.

A - Three fingers worthy of big airy pure white colored head that displays excellent retention... Once settled there is a full layer of rich creamy lacing... The color is a vibrant golden yellow... Mostly still with a couple of stray carbonation bubbles...

S - A very lively whimsical nose... Lemon zest... Big whiffs of apple and honey to start... Belgian yeast is next... Then some strong straw and grass notes... A very light funkiness permeates as well... Some pear mixed in too... Very pleasant and spot on for the style... Excellent aroma...

T - Loaded with lemon zest... Lots of grassy notes... Some light floral notes as well... A slight noble hop presence... There is a Belgian yeast component throughout as well... Very tasty...

M - On the lighter side of medium bodied... Lively carbonation... Spry... Has a good little bite... A little bit on the thin side... Goes down easily sip after sip...

D - Insanely quaffable... Insanely sessionable... Loaded with flavor and character - much more than expected given the sub 3% ABV... I could enjoy this all day long... This beer accompanies food very well... Very versatile... Highly recommended to lovers of both Saisons and session brews as this is a stellar example of both... I can't wait to try some more Jester King Offerings...

A: The beer is relatively clear light yellow in color and has a very low amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a thin white head that died down but never completely faded away.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grassy and spicy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has hints of bready malts along with a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light-bodied (but not watery) and slightly crisp and dry on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is nice and easy to drink and the light dryness and bitterness would cut particular well with a meal.

A: Pours a lightly hazy pale golden yellow in color with light to moderate amounts of visible carbonation and hints of lemon yellow highlights. The beer has a finger tall bright white head that reduces to a very thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a medium ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light amounts of bready hops along with a touch of lemon zest. Light to moderate aromas of grassy and spicy hops.

T: Upfront there are light flavors of bready malts along with some very light notes of lemon zest. There are light to moderate flavors of grassy and spicy hops. Light amounts of bitterness (similar to that from Belgian endive or frisee) in the finish that fades rather quickly.

M: Light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.

O: This is a nice light and very easy to drink - with the lighter flavors, extremely low ABV, and light body I would be able to have this all day long. A completely sessionable beer and a very enjoyable one.
