Not sure where they were going with this one.Appearance is average yellow/amber with a minimal and somewhat fizzy head. Lacing was fair. Distant aroma of straw and wet grasses.Same characteristics in the taste. Minimal hops behind minimal malts. The traditional lager has more character than this beer and that's what I would have to recommend to someone just discovering the Yuengling line.

A - see through, pale, gold with a thin, fizzy, white head that fades in an instant

S - musty, faint grass, faint citrus

T - almost no flavor on the front end, but then there is a very bitter finish; there are some hints of citrus throughout if you look hard enough

M - medium bodied, very crisp, over carbonated

Well, this certainly isn't the best pale ale out there. It could definitely use a boost of flavor. It's also over carbonated which make it lighter than it should be. Overall, I'm not disappointed that I tried this, but I won't be buying it again.
