Another Yuengling product...
I found the lager horrible, the porter drinkable, how is the black & tan?...

Off to a good start, as this beer pours a pretty creamy, tan head. The foam sticks around a lot longer than the porter, and it even sticks to the glass a bit.

As for color, this is a almost completely opaque beer. If held up to the light, you can see your finger on the other side. The brew is dark brown/black, with copper highlights reflected in the glass.

Above average smell, but not as deep as you would expect form the color. Mostly malty aromas, as you would expect. A bit disappointing.

The taste of this beer is somewhere just above average. For the color and the head, I would have expected this beer to have a fuller flavor. It's no light beer, or even one of those "yellow beers," but it is not as full bodied as I would have preferred it to be. That being said, the taste is not at all unpleasant.

So this is another one of those beers that is a "get what you pay for" kind of thing. Not a craft beer, but better than a Bud or Bud-type product. I like this one the best of all the Yuengling flavors I have tasted so far. This is a good go-to beer for parties, bargain hunters, or people that may be upgrading from Bud Light.
