Guess I'll be the first to let this secret St Johns location out of the hat.
I'll start with the have $7 growler fills before 9 pm on any beer they have on tap, which included Racer 5, Gilgamesh IPA and many other hard to find and impressive micro beers.
As for the bar itself, kind of a dive bar with subpar food selection, reminded me a lot of a neighborhood water hole. Very old furniture, dirty walls and floor, with some incense burning.
The bartender was knowledgeable about the beers she was pouring and was very friendly and helpful.
Overall a great place to get good beer in your growler and maybe a pint while you wait, but not a place you would want to hangout for a long period of time.

The place looks a bit like a hippie's basement. That's not all bad if you have good company. It's a decent place to chill but it's very utilitarian. If you like fancy places this won't be your bag.
That being said, the bartender and staff were super friendly. The place was very chill. Mostly classic reggae music was being played so that was pretty awesome. Lots of medical marijuana posters and stickers all over the place.
The bartender acknowledged that the taplist was a little weak in anticipation of the winter brew fest. That was cool that he was up front about it. Even so, I had an excellent hoppy pale and a nice chocolate stout so no worries on my end.
A friend got some tacos. The price seemed reasonable and she seemed to enjoy them.
Overall, a pretty cool spot. I'd go there for the beer and not the atmosphere though...bring a laid back group of friends and you'd have a good time. There are a couple couches to relax on and tables and barstools (kegs with seats).
As mentioned below apparently they have cheap growler fills and several guys came in to take advantage during my hour stay.
