Notes:
Brilliant clarity, bright golden in color. Pamola Pours with a nice creamy head and subtle malt and hop aroma. Crisp, clean, effervescent start with a touch of malt character and a balanced bitterness. Hop flavors linger nicely. Finishes clean, crisp and dry with a light body. Pamola is brewed with pure, soft Maine water from Lake Auburn; three different hop varieties, plus domestic and imported “Character” malts provide complexity, color and body while making use of a clean, well attenuating, top-fermenting American ale yeast. The beer is then cold conditioned for a smooth, clean and crisp flavor. This one is extremely drinkable!

Appearance: Pours a very hazy yellow with orange tints, kind of like light human piss from a dehydrated man. Nice bubbly white head with larger bubbles than normal along with a Styrofoam like lacing on the side. Good carbonation
Smell: Caramely malts with a kick of fruity hops, and some bready after smell. There is also a slight citrusy tinge reminiscent of oranges.
Taste: Bready citrus is the first thing that comes to mind, with a distinct orange peel taste in the back. The caramel malts seem to be lost between the bready yeast and the citrusy hops. This is not that over powering over a flavor though, which goes nicely for a session ale.
Mouthfeel: Very smooth, which comes as a bizarre experience considering how harshly the bubbles first hit your mouth. After feeling is dry on the very top of the tongue while wetter on the sides with thick stings of saliva, and a slight tingle on top. Nice consistency to the beer, not too watery.
Overall: A great session ale, goes down very smoothly and leaves room for more. Overall it doesn’t quite fit into the bracket of a “pale ale” which makes its name very reasonable. This beer is also nicely portable in its canned six packs, making it a great beer on the beach.

A - Poured from the can into a pint glass. Light gold, a bit hazy, limited head retention.
S - Didn't pick up too much here. Typcial for a pale ale.
T - They did well with a balance of malts. Best I can say here is that I liked it, but pale ales don't really blow me away. I didn't taste much of the hops.
M - A little thin for me. It went down really quickly, which can be good and bad. I generally like beers to linger a bit longer.
O - Nice pale ale, but nothing really special here.

I like Baxter Brews. I think they did a good job sneaking in a little bitterness and subtle hops. I believe it gave a golden glow and had a good head in a glass but Id prefer it straight from the can. It is crisp and a little light for me but went down super easy.

12 ounce can, w/o freshenesss info
Pour: Heavily hazed, darker apricot. Fluffy off white head that exhibits excellent retention. Leaves a frothy film, thick collar and thick sheeting, spots, bands and major blobs of lacing. Nice looking beer.
Somebody mentioned a buttery popcorn note on the nose and this is definatly on point. I dont recall another beer with a popcorn nose! I do also get some leafy, herbal hop notes.
On the palate, I get some herbal hops again, light citric fruit, a hint of smoke perhaps.
Light and refreshing pale ale, perhaps a bit thin and watery, but not bad and fairly enjoyable stuff. Nothing special, but sessionable and likely would be nice on a warm summers day with some cheese, bread and salads.
Nice that more and more decent beers are being canned. Hope this trend continues and continues

I wasn't expecting much- but I was pleasantly surprised.
Serve it cold. The beer poured a light pale tea color with a two finger head. Good amount of lacing.
The aroma was good- fruit and hops.
The mouth feel complemented the style- pleasant carbonation. Refreshing malt presence.
The taste was quite good- fruity apple and quite crisp.
Sometimes a pale ale can be lackluster. But there is a lot to this refreshing beer if
served cold and in my favorite tasting glass- a snifter. It's a good session beer and a nice alternative to the heavier ABV winter beers .

A - Pours a straw yellow/slightly golden/orange. Lots of fine sediment, quite cloudy in the wider part of my Sam Adams glass, very clear in the lower/thinner portion. Lots of very fine sediment floating around. Nice constant/relatively slow carbonation rising through the beer. Poured a solid finger of barely off-white head, solid lacing. OK retention, a thin layer covers most of the surface ~5 minutes later.
S - Lighter sweet fruity hop presence (apple/lemon/orange). Bready light caramel malt. Slightly yeasty. Fairly subtle but pleasant.
T - Decently bitter (mild+), really nice citrusy qualities. Predominantly lemon, some orange too. A wee-bit bready/sweet from the malts. The citrus qualities of the hops are nicely balanced. Slightly dry finish, does not linger too long.
M - Definitely easy to drink, refreshing and crisp. Lighter bodied, generous/appropriate carbonation.
O - Not a show stopper but enjoyable and easy to drink. If I'm drinking a sixer at a party or something this would be a good one to bring.

12 oz. can purchased at Hannaford in Gardiner, ME. Pours a hazy light yellow body with nearly an inch of off white head. Smells grainy with light citrusy hops. Lemon, pith, and orange comprise the flavor. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Not bad overall.

Baxter Pamola XTRA Pale Ale has a very thick, frothy, off-white head, lots of thick lacing down the glass, a few streaming bubbles, and a hazy, orange-gold appearance, which becomes hazier when the bottom of the can is swished and poured in. The aroma is of grapefruit, sugary malts, and white bread. Taste is of grapefruit, sugar, malt, and bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Pamola XTRA finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and lager like in it’s somewhat flinty ending. Overall, this is excellent, and I strongly suggest giving it a try.
