Best place to sample draft craft beer in my hometown of Colorado Springs. Pretty good vibe, cozy atmosphere in a nice downtown location. Had about a dozen, mainly local selections on tap with a few prominent out of state options. The quality of most options was great, but few outstanding or world class selections (by beer advocate’s rating system). Service was fine, but I got the distinct impression of indifference to my presence, while the bartenders were chatting with regulars. I imagine if I lived in town and became a regular I would receive excellent service. Overall I will come back on future visits.

For not being a brewery itself, hands down the best selection of beers on tap in the city. They always have something that no one else in the state has on tap. And as soon as something is empty there is another amazing beer on the way. Truly worth stopping in.

Spectacular bar I used to frequent When I lived in CO. Bartenders were friendly and the owner was a great guy who was around all the time. Even went to a couple beer dinner pairings there.

UPDATE: Brewer's has been saved by Cerberus Brewing here in COS and is now open once again as of February 6, 2018. No joke!

I've come around to Brewer's -- they used to have a nearly-hostile workforce behind the counter. I've never been glared at before even opening my mouth. That said, the folks working there now are awesome, willing to offer tastes, take-backs when something's off, just fantastic. The food is solid, nothing to write home about, but love the beer selection. The owner has done a commendable job in improving the staff situation, so KUDOS. And they are bringing in some non-CO beers, which is great, because all of us can get the usual CO beers at any good bottle shop. Keep up the good work, y'all!

Nice little bar in downtown CO Springs. Pretty good selection of Colorado beers and some nice non-local stuff as well. Servers were knowledgeable, offering choices and tasters when we had questions. Kind of a hipster vibe, but nice place anyway.

Enjoyed my visit here, all beers were in great shape.

Bar tender loved talking beer, made suggestions, seemed to really care about what beer I drank and was helpful to the members of our party who weren't into craft beer ( there is an affiliated basement bar called subway to handle that)

Was impressed with the staff's willingness to give samplers & rotate beers in. 2 kegs blew, both were changed out with something with an update to the board ASAP.

Pricing seemed good/great

Nice gamut of mostly American craft offerings. Tried multiple half pints and all were in great shape.

I did like the vibe in the basement better, but I enjoyed my time on the surface as well. Would happily go back any day.

Coming from ATL in town for 2 days. Awesome selection of exclusive craft brews. Tried "Brotha's Darkness" black IPA by Phantom Canyon and Tommy Knocker "Legend" a strong ale on tap. Both very awesome! Looks like they get really good Buisiness. Maybe time to expand. Barely sitting room. Especially it being only a Thursday night. Overall real cool spot. Prompt service. Cool vibe

Brewer's Republic is far and away my favorite beer bar in Colorado Springs. What started off as a <10 tap, CO only beer selection has evolved into 20 taps of limited release, hard to find, or just overall quality beers from all over the country - but still with a huge CO presence. They also now serve some premium spirits and wines and as always their kitchen puts most bars to shame.

All Colorado beer bar. Great idea considering all the amazing beers in this state.

Selection: 12 beers on tap and about as broad of a selection as you can have with that many taps. Last time I was there they had Kick and Clutch from New Belgium, Colorado Glider Cider, Gubna, Ska Pinstripe, Mercenary, Fort Collins Brewery barley wine, and a few others. All of their kegs are 1/6 barrel so you stand a chance to have different beers on tap then when you came in. They understand they have a limited amount of taps so they do a very good job of getting rare beer that other Colorado Spring places won't even get a chance to put on tap.

Atmosphere: Small cozy bar atmosphere. They have live music nights, trivia nights, and a bike ride club. They have an outdoor patio in front and a covered patio upstairs. Industrial decor done right.

Price: This is where the kill the competition. They are priced well and you get a full pint. A full pint of Le Terroir cost $6.00, it was on tap somewhere else for considerably more and in a small tulip. Beer dinners are only $30 and they have free schwag to give away plus custom made beers for them from places like Odell and Oskar Blues.

Staff: The owners are awesome and way friendly. They have put requested beers on tap multiple times! Fun bar staff as well.

Food: The food comes from a bar next door through an attached kitchen. It's ok bar food but definitely not the focus. You come for the beer but end up staying so long you have to eat something and the place next door helps out.
Overall impressive!
