A- Pours a deep brown, with a ruby-red hue around the edges. A fluffy amber-tan head forms and quickly fades, leaving lacing down the glass and only re-appearing when agitated.

S- Nice and tart on the nose. Definate sour cherry notes, black cherry, lactic sourness, some sweet oakiness, and just a hint of acetic acid.

T- Again, very tart, but very complex. Again, the sour and sweet cherries come through, along with the typical sour-apple lactic acid flavor, but there's also some dark, juicy plum, some oak, a hint of vanilla, mild notes of balsamic and cider vinegar, and just a little bit of funk. As it warms, a nice sour raspberry flavor emerges at the very end of the finish.

M- Nice body with a super-dry finish.

D- Really pleasant to sip on. A beer meant for savoring.

750mL bottle split 3 ways

A: Red tinted mahogany with a thin lashing of head. Some legs.

N: ripe grapes, lactic acide, some strawberry, cherry, and oak. Wine barrel is evident.

M: Sour lactic acid and sweet tarts. There's an ample amount of the aforementioned fruits, but this has the same base level taste of the other Cascade sours.

M: It's on the lighter side, though it's still heavier than I like and has an oiliness about it.

O: Typical Cascade sour. Nothing special, but it's not off putting to drink, either.

Thanks to John11486 for sharing this one at jmgrub's tasting.

Pours a clear brown with a foamy tan head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is sour, tart, and funky with some fruity, wood, and vinegar aromas. Taste is much the same with an acidic finish on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.
