Pours out an incredibly dark brown-red color. Lots of dark ruby hues around the edges. The smell is definitely sour with lots of dark fruitiness. It smells almost like consecration, much less sourness in the nose though. Very lactic. The taste follows the nose. It has a great sourness with a sugary-sweet fruitiness that I've found in all Cascade sours. Maybe some acetobacter, but also great lactic sourness. One of the best Cascades I've had. Not sure if it's residual sweetness or just the fruit-juiciness that makes it way different than other sours that finish straight dry. It does finish dry but it's different. Awesome beer.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Reviewed from notes.
Appearance - Deep ruby red. Yellowish cream head.
Smell - Light balsamic acidity. Cherries. Some oak.
Taste - Much stronger malt up front but it is overpowered rapidly by acetic sourness. Strong balsamic flavor. Gets oaky and dry in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Dry, oaky, vinous finish. The sourness becomes strongest right at the end.
Overall - Authentic oud bruin flavors with standard authentic pitfalls as well, in my opinion.

750mL bottle split 3 ways
A: Red tinted mahogany with a thin lashing of head. Some legs.
N: ripe grapes, lactic acide, some strawberry, cherry, and oak. Wine barrel is evident.
M: Sour lactic acid and sweet tarts. There's an ample amount of the aforementioned fruits, but this has the same base level taste of the other Cascade sours.
M: It's on the lighter side, though it's still heavier than I like and has an oiliness about it.
O: Typical Cascade sour. Nothing special, but it's not off putting to drink, either.

Thanks to John11486 for sharing this one at jmgrub's tasting.
Pours a clear brown with a foamy tan head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is sour, tart, and funky with some fruity, wood, and vinegar aromas. Taste is much the same with an acidic finish on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.
