Very light pale gold color. Medium white foamy head. Aroma is grassy, grainy and sweet. A light bodied pilsner. Malts are fruity and sweet. Very mild slightly spicy hops. Carbonation is very soft. An interesting pilsner, its hoppier than most pilsners and there is a slight vegetative/cardboard flavor that not as unpleasant as it sounds. Smooth taste. Its a little sweet and there is a slightly unpleasant aftertaste, but it still drinkable. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet

Had this beer on tap at L'Alsace in Paris.
A-gold body, light and fluffy white head.
S-strong metallic smell
T-metal. some grain sweetness very light hop finish
M-light
D-okay but a very run of the mill pils. I have nothing really against this brew but I would just choose something else.

Sorry but this following comment is in french :
Appearance : bière blonde de type pilsener, robe dorée soutenue
Smell : nez très houblonné
Taste and mouthfeel : bonne amertume
Drinkability : une bière correcte mais sans plus, brassée par le groupe météor

Meteor came as part of a mix pack I bought yesterday. Without further adieu, let's get on to the beer:
Poured into a stange, it pours a crystal-clear yellow with a nice two-finger head. The smell is average with some spicy character to it. Tastes like a German pilsner, but a little thinner. Sweet malt makes its enterence before a dumbed-down spicy hop flavor intervenes, leaving a grassy aftertaste. This may be a French take on a pilsner, but that doesn't mean it has to be mediocre.

Yellow-greenish color, quite carbonated. Decent white head. Sticking. Laces.
A quite fresh hop in the smell. Not bad. Some grassy.
Taste too, after all, not bad. Quite bitter, with a bitterness that continues in the aftertaste. Even if not really fresh.
Malty notes.
Quite balanced.
Not unforgettable.

Got this one out of one of those Cost Plus World Market "Beers of the World" variety packs.
A - Very light pale yellow pour with a small white head.
S - Little bit of a corn smell in the nose.
T - Tasted slightly of licorice at first, but as it warmed a bit the taste slide into a sweet subtle honey flavor.
M - Light.
D - Very drinkable. I could knock these back all night.

11.2 oz (?) bottle from a Cost Plus "Beers of the World" gift pack.
When drinking this beer, I thought of the Douglas Adams book "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe" and its original description of Earth: "Harmless", or perhaps its revised description: "Mostly Harmless".
This was a slightly murky hazy yellow (aren't pils supposed to be crystal clear?) that is just there. The aroma is light, with lightly sweet bready grains. The flavor is light, watery, clean, refreshing (wait a minute, that's mouthfeel- so where's the flavor?). OK, look harder- light malts and light hops, fortunately none of that Euro hop skunk/sour. Let's look at this positively- it's subtle. Nope, can't do it, it's plain. It's thin. It makes me less thirsty on a hot day.
It's mostly harmless.

Ok, bargain rack at State Line for 99cents, no dating on this one.... hmmm.... I'm always up for an adventure...
Poured out a clear and golden, with a nice thick white head that reduced down to a good thin covering. I wonder if this one was on the bargain rack for a reason, as it has a very skunk scent to it. Maybe a bit of canned corn scent too, if that is not too weird to say? Bit of hay and oatmeal when you sit here sniffing it long enough. The right amount of carbination for the style. Man, I really am trying to think of good things to say. Ok. Tastes like a pilsner, but maybe this one has just went past it's prime. Maybe there is some of those styrian hops that I don't like and that is where the skunkyness is coming from? There is some bitterness, but not in an appealing way, just kinda hits the back sides of your tongue and stays there for a long while. There is a bit of an herbal flavor that I get, that also goes maybe towards medicinal. Like I said, I have to say that this all may be skewed as this one may be old. Can't even finish it.

One of my old favorite back in my CEGEP's years. Nice, lucid and yellow gold color, great carbonizations. A skunky smell, very skunky, but it make you love skunks (that why Pepe is cool !). A good mouthfeel, nothing great, but not bad at all too. The taste is refreshing, light, with no great distinct aromas emerging from that beer. A good beer to drink lightly when you invite friends over.

Pours a yellow, slightly hazy color with a nice head. That's as far as I got. First taste was thin, almost light beer like. Second taste was a bit better, weak though, and not a very exciting finish. Actually left a bad after taste. Not impressed.

Clear, straw gold in color with a bright white head that holds well and falls to a good collar but leaves no lace. The aroma is of grainy malt and some herbal and lightly resiny hops. The body is medium with a moderate carbonation and the mouthfeel is lightly crisp. The flavor mirrors the aroma with a good deal of herbal hop flavor - grassy, resiny, lightly pine-like - actually very much like dried pine needles! This is much more of a German style, rather than Bohemian pilsener, but it seems to fall oddly in between, lacking in the solid hop flavor and bitterness of the German style. The finish is dry with a lingering hoppiness. A very nice beer, but there are better ones available for less money. Still, it's somewhat interesting in that it's slightly different.
