Poured from can into Celis Chalice, good 3 finger soapy cream colored head, recedes shortly thereafter, so so lacing. Pale golden in the glass, was clear until I let the dregs in :). Peach on the nose upfront, some saison esters beneath, some slight lemon lingering around there too. Taste delivers, ripe peach, sweetness from the malt, but taste like a ripe peach, there is some mild lemon tartness in the middle and the saison yeast is somewhat hidden, delivering a spicy bite at the end. There is a mile underlying funk, that is a nice addition. I bought this 6 pack back in June when I was in Florida to add to the sessionable beach beers. I wasn't really that crazy about it, and it seems no one else really was. Not sure what happened to this beer over the past several months, but it was for the better. It may be somewhat one dimensional, but it delivers on the peach flavor. The one thing that would make this beer better for me would be a crisper finish. I somewhat like that in a lower abv beer, this one on the palate reminds me of NOLA's 7th Street Wheat, it just feels a little fat on the finish

It's got a great sweetness to it and looks absolutely incredible poured as a nice draft, but unfortunately the flavor is quite one-dimensional. The tartness with the sweetness comes through immediately, but there isn't much in the way of undertones or feel. If you want something really peachy this will get the job done, but it's a novelty one trick pony beer that I couldn't see buying a full case of.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a hazy, dark golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is sour, some peaches. Taste is tart, spices, a bit of peaches, more sour than I would have expected from this style. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

12 oz can. Pours hazy golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of funky yeast, what malt and ripe fruit. Body is medium and tangy. Herbal hops, wheat malt and peach fill the mouth. Finish is long and dry. Average brew.

16 ounce draft at the rooftop bar at the Bohemian Hotel in Savannah. Does not taste anything like I expect a Saison to taste like, and I do not mean that in a good way. Would not recommend.

Appearance - Pours hazy and brilliant orange with a white, near finger width head that dissipates rather quickly, leaving behind a mostly barren surface and a thin, broken ring of suds around the edge of the glass. No lacing.

Smell - Peach, peach and more peach. Not much else; maybe a faint hint of spice.

Taste - Follows the nose. Big blast of peach upfront with a hint of spice, then.... nothing. Flavor dies down quickly, leaving a vague trace of the sweet peach flavor.

Mouthfeel - Light-bodied with light carbonation. Drinks easy, but a bit flat on the end.

Overall - Promising brew that doesn't add much past that initial peach flavor. As a saison you'd expect a bit more complexity, but there's not much to find here.
