Poured from the bottle a bright clear copper color with two fingers of white head.

Lighter aroma of pine and grapefruit.

The taste opened with pine and grapefruit and a balanced with a hit of earthy malts.

Medium bodied with a moderate carbonation.

A pretty decent IPA but not one of my favorites.

Poured into tumbler glasses and consumed between 45 and 55 degrees over the course of a wonderful half hour.

Bubbly head with good, but patchy retention. Golden cider color that shines like autumn with clarity beyond what the big hops should permit.
Lemony pine plus papaya and some warm banana bread balance out the alluring nose.
Herbal fizz with rosemary opens into tasty spice showered in bright citrus. Resin trails behind.
Bitterness and chalk hover throughout a long, undulating current of tastes, but are never out of balance. Cream spins into tart and melts into chewy spreadable cheese with a hint of happy funk near the finish.
It's creamy and rather full bodied with just the necessary crispness to clean the tongue. Balance and complexity, as in every other aspect, define the feel of this beast.
Overall, bright and doughy; spicy but smooth. This killer is a special treat.

Poured into a pint glass. Pours a mainly clear, slighly hazy, mediium golden color with a bit of a copper hue. Has a nice white head initially 2/3-3/4 of an inch when first poured that eventually settles to a nice thick ring lining the inside of the glass with some spotty surface foam and a good lacing. Aromas of biscuity caramel malt and some citrus hop undertones, but nothing too hoppy. Starts off with a nice somewhat sweet caramel malt biscuity malt flavor that gives way to some floral citrus hop flavors that linger after each sip. Good balance of flavors. Tasty indeed, but I was expecting a bit more of a hop whallop to the palate from a beer called Hopsecutioner. Has a crisp yet smooth, slightly chewy medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. A tasty beer all around and worth a try.
