I poured this brew rather vigoriously and what i got was a Guiness like effect, awesome.
This beer is super deep black with a tall dense mocha head sitting on top making a nice contrast.
Plenty of lacing too.
Aroma is fantastic with deep fresh coffee notes over a sutle roasted malt bill.
Taste is not as intense as the nose but that doesn't mean it lacks flavor, ther is a nice depth of flavor which i enjoy.
The taste is richly malted sweet almost like a milk stout with bitter black coffee weaving through out. There is a slight alcohol warming at the very end.
Drinks thick and smooth numbing my tongue ever so slightly. A bitter coffee aftertaste ends it.
This is a good beer and worth the effort to find.

Drank from a 12 fl. oz./355 ml bottle acquired in a trade with surge1311
Vintage: 2012
Served in a snifter

Dark brown appearance. Medium viscosity for the style. The beer was topped by a three-finger, saddle brown head.

The nose was dominated by coffee. Super strong and potent. Incredibly fragrant. Freshly brewed coffee grounds. French press coffee. Dry oats. Husky. Oaty. Roasty. Vanilla.

Coffee dominated the flavor profile as well. French roast coffee. Deep, dark, roasted malts. Super crisp, dry, roasty finish. Smoky. Slightly boozy finish.

Nearly full bodied for the style. Super creamy, frothy and smooth. Slick.

A very raw and intense beer. Perhaps the most coffee dominant beer I have ever tried. Not for the faint of heart. Non coffee lovers need not apply.

A - Jet black with little head. Looks like a glass of black coffee.

S - Dominated by coffee, followed up by roasted malts, chocolate, and a hint of vanilla.

T - Follows the nose, with a heavy, fresh, black coffee flavor. In addition, there is a noticeable presence of roasted malts and chocolate, with just the slightest hint of vanilla. The coffee bitterness is definitely there, as well.

M - Medium-bodied with balanced carbonation. Creamy texture.

O - Delicious beer. Well worth the wait and searching. Highly recommended for those who enjoy coffee stouts as much as I do. I compare this to Founder's Breakfast Stout, as I feel the two taste pretty similar.

Appearance: Pours nearly black with 1/2 finger of a dark tan, almost brown head. Body is opaque

Smell: Wafts to your nose from 3 feet way. Coffee and chocolate easily. It feels like Tom and Jerry when the Cheese smell lifts Jerry off of the ground.

Taste: Tastes like I smell thank you very much. Chocolate, coffee and malt come through well

Mouthfeel: Creamy and finishes with a warm alcohol feel.

Overall: If you like coffee stout, this is a must have.
