Sampled 4/29/2011 at the brewery. "Botanical" seems to be a beer that changes with ingredients availabe. At least that's the impression that I got from someone that has tried some other iterations of this beer.

Pours hazy golden, stark white head, good lacing and retention. Other than the haziness it's perty.

Aroma is herbal for sure. Chamomille, raw vegetables, leaves, wheat, and lemon.

Flavor is a somewhere between a very spiced Saison and a Bière de Garde. The tea is the biggest component followed by wheat, lemon, some juniper, that vegetal quality again, and some bready malt. Interesting and surprisingly good.

Body is light/medium, very drinkable and even enjoyable even if it is strange.
