A fresh, decidedly fruit-forward saison, brewed with Washington State blackberries and black currants. This beer is deep red in color, but rather than being sweet like many fruit beers, Dog Ate My Homework is dry, tart, and refreshing.

A ruby red clean pour with a finger of head, slow dissipation and a bit of lacing. Aroma is very sweet, tea leaves, berries, honey.. A bit herbal in essence.
Flavor is sweet with a blast of raspberries/blackberries.. Bready, slight bitterness, nice berry tartness in the finish.
Medium body, sweet drink with a dry finish and lower carbonation.
This is a solid beer.. Much better/tastier than the saison on its own.

This ale excels in all the right areas.
Poured the color of raspberry juice with matching bright pink head. Whoa, but then the aroma hits and gets me past the color. Definitely tart with blackberry and what I can only guess is currants. I had to take a second sniff to discern the beer.
The taste is where this really shines, nearly ideal for the style, flavorful and tart and refreshing and dry. My sweet spot for sour beers.
Enjoyed this a lot and wish it was local to me.

Reddish violet pour with a magenta tinted head. Pure blackberry melds with the grains, currant, cherry, and bubble gum support, very reminiscent of fruit juice. Taste is much the same, blackberry the clear star, spelt is felt more, slight pear and lemon meld in on the finish. It is sneaky complex, but the juice of the berries do come off slight medicinally. Feel is tart, light, very crisp, starts wet and finishes dry, sneaky sugary in a non-adjunct way. Not bad but nothing to write home about, a fruit beer with unique character

Wow. The label on my can is nothing like the label on this listing.
16oz can served in a pair of SIP fest 2020 snulips. Canned on 12/23/2019.
Pours purple with a fairly large head. Smell is yeast and funk, if I didn't look at it beforehand and see the purple color I might not have noticed the berry streak.
Taste is very beery. Yeast / funk / carbonation, a little biscuit -- with a strong jammy berry flavor, too. Interesting.
Mouthfeel is rich, thick, but airy. Fluffy, as Greg Avola might say. Overall, really solid beer.

Its a little funky, little tart, little sweet and decidedly dry. Its light enough to choke down easily on a hot day but the ABV is just strong enough to give you a bit of a winter beer feel, kind of an in between-er.

On tap at Market of Choice.
A beautiful dark purple with a thin light pink head with minimal retention and lacing. The nose is surprisingly muted. Blackberries, though not explosive given how dark and thick this beer looks. Fruity with blackberries but not super ripe, mild grain with a mild spice note, mildly white pepper like. Drury and dry on the finish with a blend of grain and carbonic acid. Underwhelming.
