Nice amber brew with a choppy head that sticks around for a while.
Decent malty aroma with some fruit.
Flavor is malty, fruity, with some hops in there somewhere.
Not heavy at all - nice medium bodied brew.
Well, a nice surprise. Very drinkable, with some nice malt and decent balance. Decent with food, or alone -- thirst quencher or a sipper -- a pretty decent brew.

Appearance: A rather nice amber witha decently thick off white head.
Aroma: Caramel malts, sublte brwon bread, bits of citrus eminating from the hops. Way in the back is a twinge of carob.
Taste: Smooth mouthfeel with a light sticky texture. Notes of toffee, caramel malts, small amounts of citrus fruits. It's fairly malt forward the hops are simply there to give it a little bit of balance.
Notes: Tasty all the way around. Cheers.

S) Caramel malts. "Buttered toast" aroma.
T) Pleasant malts. Buttery and biscuit taste. Slight bit of sour toward the finish.
M) Creamy. Medium-light body. Some tannin in the finish.
O) A decent brew. I'd have another.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours reddish amber with touches of white foam. Almost clearls completely.
Sweet caramel and toffee smell. Light sweet taste, sweet finish. Little to no hop back. Same in the taste.
Good carbonation. Nice easy drinking amber ale, unremarkable.

Poured a 1.5" white head which quickly disspated to a trace. Slightly hazy amber color. Not a lot of smell other than ver mild malt. Taste is a BMC lager along with a slightly crisp bitter finish and a little malt. All in all a ver average beer, just slightly cool because it's from Martha's Vineyard.

A- Amber bodied ale with a foamy off-white head. Decent retention from a good size cap. Random spotty lace.
S- Mostly get a buttery nut brown caramel malt profile. Not much in the way of hops.
T- Pretty much follows the nose. Mostly malty with toasted nut, butter and caramel hints. Some hops lending earthy and grassy notes. Some fruit flavors (apple). Definite grain and corn as well.
MF- A bit of a foamy, light watery feel with moderate carbonation. Slight bitterness.
Not really what I was expecting but a decent amber ale. More malty than hoppy with some Brown Ale influence.

This was a curiosity to me when we received a sole case of it at the store I work at. Per usual, I refer to my boss when a new product comes in that peaks my interest, and ask him "how it is".
I've been on an amber style kick for a few months now, and this beer is fairly local, paired with my boss giving his recommendation, I decided to give it a spin.
A pleasant surprise, I fell in love with it. Really nice balance here, with some citrusy notes, but nothing too overwhelming. It's really one of the best beers I've tried in a while, and when we have it in, I recommend it to any of my customers looking to try a new, easy drinking brew with a good amount of character.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle
A - Pours a light brown with hints of cherry color; bright white fingers worth of head, nice sticky lacing
S - Malt forward, a light fruity nose, yeasty
T&M - Good carbonation and medium body. Heavy malt presence gives a thicker feel, but a nice hop zing balances it well with a citrus flare. The yeast is giving this a sort of nutty flavor that mixes with the fruit notes - can't quite put my finger on the fruit...apples?
D - Smooth drinking, interesting flavors and a reasonable ABV; I can see having more then one

A: Amber-orange, with fluffy white head, good lacing.
S: Almost adjunct grain sort of smell, but saved by some sweet malt.
T: The malt is sweet, not much of a hop bite at all. Very grainy tasting, not bad.
M: A medium body, good enough carbonation to make it smooth and enjoyable.
D: Might get sick of them after a couple, solid overall.

I received this beer from TheManiacalOne in a BIF, thank you. Poured into a pint glass at 39 degrees.
Appearance: There is a one finger light white head that has some retention. The head is creamy and foamy. The color of the beer is a medium amber color with orange hues. The clarity of the beer is hazy. There is some lacing left behind from the dead.
Nose: A moderate hop aroma that is floral, and grapefruit. The malt has a slight caramel note.
Taste: A light hop flavor with wood, floral, and some grapefruit notes. The malt, has some caramel and biscuit tones.
Mouth feel of the beer carbonated and slightly dry.
Overall: This is a good hand crafted amber ale, I am very glad I got to drink it.

A- Body is a quite hazy uniformly translucent, bright, rusty amber hue. Pours with a 1/2 finger or so soapy white head with great retention. Traces of lacing left behind in the glass.
S- Nose is very mild and offers what a typical amber ale has. A hint of citrus, some earthy hops, and a hint of malty sweetness.
T- Flavor profile is mild as well. Herbal and earthy hops seem to come through the most but a sugary sweetness and some malt come through as well. The finish is sweeter than the initial flavor and a vegetable like sweetness lingers for a little bit.
M- This is where the folks at Offshore really did a great job. Moderate tingly carbonation and a very smooth medium weight body.
D-This meets the standard and presents as a decent overall amber ale. The mouthfeel is exceptional and it is a good looking brew-but other than that it really doesn't offer anything exciting. The flavor is certainly unoffensive and this is a drinkable amber ale.
