With 24 taps of some of the best Czech beers with many more available bottled (mostly foreign), it is the best selection I have seen in any Czech bar. Simply excellent.

The bar itself is small (about 8-9 tables, max. 8 places at the bar) and from what I have heard, it can be very crowded during the evenings, I visited it during the day when most of its seats were taken anyway and all tables were reserved from 19.00. A bit smoky as well, but that might change in the future, depending on implementation of EU smoking legislation.

Service is friendly and prices are set rather high for Czech standarts, but even the most expensive 0.5 l beer never exceeds 2.5 eur, it is usually around 1.5 eur.

Unassuming downstairs pub on first glance, but lots of beer related decorations gives it a homey atmosphere matched with a friendly staff.
Be prepared to be amazed at the selection of Czech microbreweries and Belgian/German beers available on tap (approx. 24 different taps). They also have a wider selection available cold from beer fridges also located in the bar. Selection is quite varied, czech lagers, black lagers, ales, wheat beers and usually a rauchbier.
Prices are very reasonable given its location, but easily accessible by trams/buses from city center.
Recently went non-smoking in the downstairs portion.
Would recommend to any true beer fan!
