Visited New England Wine & Spirits for the first time today. Driving through the area and according to th DFH brew finder this place carried their WWS that I can't get in New Hampshire. It was there as well as other beers I have only dreamed of finding in my area. The atmosphere was pretty laid back and quiet too. The service was pleasant and very helpful. The selection of beer was probably the most extensive I have ever seen though the quantity of selection was not. There is some real high quality beers for sale here! The prices seemed to be on par with what I can find in the Concord/Manchester area of NH. Lucky for me my brother-in-law lives nearby so I plan on stopping by whenever we pass by to visit!

Visiting from Florida and stopped in to see if I could find something that is not available in S Florida....I know, that's easy to accomplish. I found a lot of variety and I picked up several locals that I obviously couldn't get at home but also several beers that are not available south of Orlando. Have to agree with others on price. I paid $21 for a 22oz Hoppin Frog oak aged Boris. That seemed a little pricey even after I drank it...mmm!

Anyways....I thought Leary's had more overall variety but this place had some harder to find beers...at least for me.

New England wine and spirits is now the best place around the seacoast to find beer. Of course, just being in Massachusetts they have an advantage over NH stores in selection.

I just found beers from Norway i was looking for, in preparation, for am upcoming trip. They had bottles from both known high quality craft Norway breweries.

Large and growing selection. Helpful staff. A real focus on craft beer. Although I love Learys, also in town, as I have been going there for 30 years, New England is the new beer king in town.

The wine selection did not seem too shabby either.

I easily give NE Wine & Spirits an A to an A+ for their beer selection...I have found beers here that no one else had.
Unfortunately, as great as the selection is, the prices in this shop can be as much as 40-45 percent higher on certain beers than other local stores. It certainly pays to shop around.
A lot of beers have no prices....that should be a warning sign right there.

Don't get me wrong...the staff is friendly.
All I am saying is hard to get beers receive hard to get prices. Just as an example...store "A" charged me $5 for one bottle of Founders KBS when it came out. This store charged me $8. Just one example!
I realize that certain hard to get items may cost a little more. But...that is a significant difference.

They are the only store around that had a great Finnish beer. Huvila Arctic Circle Ale. Cannot wait to get that again!

They have weekly beer tastings....which is a plus. I just cannot get over the price gouging.
Will return to shop, but will watch the prices very carefully.

Should be renamed New England Wine, BEER & Spirits!

I can't add many more superlatives than what has already been said. I've been around the States and have driven many miles in search of a good beer selection, and this is one of the best, per square foot, devoted to different beers. They beat some of the larger stores. (You can't tell from the front window dressing by the way, which accounts for my only rating less than 5. Might want to get rid of the old, faded signs and such.)

I am very lucky to have this store in my own "back yard." My only complaint is that my beer budget has soared since moving here! Whatever you want, they will get (or sincerely try to get).

Cheers to the owner and his staff!

In the past year or so, this store went from about an 8 foot craft beer section to 40+ feet (front and back of a whole aisle) with a dizzying selection from all over. They even built a wooden shelf above the counter wall to accommodate more beer!

And they have several refrigerated coolers that hold even more craft beer.

I have found several beers here that previously I would have had to travel a significant distance to purchase, and their selection continues to improve.

The staff there are all really friendly and try hard to fulfill requests.

As an example... I recently had their main beer buyer call me to let me know they were able to get in a hard-to-find seasonal beer that I'd asked for last season (asked for it too late last season, I should say). Nine months later, he still remembered my request and made sure I was aware they had gotten it in and held some aside for me!

Granted, I frequent the store regularly, but clearly that kind of service is above and beyond!

I highly recommend this up and coming store!

One of places to find Cantillon on the shelf...!!! They have expanded there beer selection 4 folds, its huge. Biggest selection of Micro brews, 22oz, seasonal and imports. Should stop by before u get on to your boats. Best selection of micro brews in a can.

It has turned into a destination beer store for me. they had one of the biggest cold beer selection, but after the addition of the warm self, by far it is one of the biggest and best beer selection around. If they dont have anything in stock they will try their best to get it first.

Great local store.

I've lived in NBPT for nearly 15 years and for most of that time the beer has been fairly typical. However, over the past couple of years they've really stepped up their game. I've rated their selection a lit above average. I'm told it will get better. Nice selection of American craft beers as well as beers from the UK, Germany, other parts of Europe, Latin America and Asia.

I spoke with the own a few weeks ago and asked him if he could try to bring Cantillon to the store. Not only did he and the distributor come through, he brought in several different Cantillons. Schwing.

If you're into bourbon and whiskey they've got a GREAT selection. I was able to score some of the Buffalo Trace Experimental series at this store.

Nice people. Good store.

As @northropbomber indicated, NEWS has more that tripled their selection. Can't believe how much better it is. I raised the rating.
