Dammit probably would not have bought this if I knew Hermitage brewed it.

Clear dark brown colored beer with a medium sized light brown colored head.

Smells sweet and pretty much like German Chocolate cake. Chocolate, caramel and coconut are the main scents. Not really any extra scents here, it smells like German Chocolate cake.

Starts out on the sweet-side with a patent malt taste that isn't really in the smell. Tastes like no sugar German chocolate cake with coffee. Essentially this is more Milk Stout than porter.

Mouthfeel is good.

Overall it is an OK beer from a brewery I do not recommend. It is just OK.

Bomber courtesy of Doodler (thanks Scott) poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, carmel, light coconut and light vanilla. Mouthfeel was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of dark chocolate, vanilla, light coconut and liught roastiness with a smooth finish.
