Pours a transparent gold to orange body with similar colored hues beneath the pillowy, vanilla head, which is very slow to dissolve and leaves a pretty sticky lacing clinging to the glass.
A mild nose consists of pine, grass and citrus hops as well as a fairly strong malt presence.
The flavor is quite a bit on the pine and floral side with perhaps some citrus hops as well. It is a bit too piney versus some of its fine counterparts within the style. There is a mild hint of malt but that piney coating dominates.
Medium to lighter in body with medium carbonation and a pungent, pine finish.
This beer has some potential, but really needs to find a better balance between the hop varieties and malts.

Yellow piss color; murky but see-through.
Bright white head like a new snowfall; it dissipates but never disappears.
Thick lacing throughout.
Nose is of grapefruit and sweet malts; smells like an American Barleywine to me. Intense.
Medium mouthfeel.
Mouth is of citrus, which is overpowered by sweet, almost treacly malts.
Strong flavors, a bit overbearing on the malt edge for me.

Had a pint on tap at Oggi's with lunch earlier today for $5.74.
Beer was served orange with a very nice white head that left ringlets behind.
Nose is light grapefruit.
Taste is classic west coast IPA, large pale and caramel malt base interlaced with floral hops and a large dose of grapefruit with a pine finish.
Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied and pretty smooth.
Overall not a bad beer but not a stand out either.

From a twelve ounce bottle, this brew is a hazy, amber-golden color with a slim head. The aroma is seriously hoppy....woody, resin-like, grapefruit peel...fruit, flowers, and pine. The taste is dry, with substantial bitterness. Full in body and enjoyable. Some warmth at the end.

Comes in an amber like color, the carbonation was there but it didn't yield a lasting head. Started at only 1/3" and quickly vanished from there. Aroma was lacking, especially for style. Bring hops next time guys.
Taste revealed hops by its immense bitterness. Dem long boil high alpha acid hops that are light in the flavor department. Caramel and grapefruit. A time traveling machine in 22oz bottles, back to yesteryear when high 100ibu and high alcohol was all you needed to push the limits of what was beer.
I hate the bomber format for dipa, and this is no exception, although at only $4-5, it isn't a terrible deal, but ultimately, its the beer inside that is less than average.
