Pours a mid chestnut brown body with a slight off white head starting about 4mm and having.
Light aroma of hops barbados brown sugar and digestive biscuits
The taste is very fitting with a traditional brown ale slightly sweet with fruity hops and a nutty slightly bitter finish.
slightly lively but a good mouthfeel
as a rocker from the north the standard fare is Newcastle brown ale at clubs and gigs, now this is a slight cut above that.

Clear russet body with craggy taupe head that's very clingy. Hob Nobs and toasted almond nose - deep and malty.
Brown bread and toffee with hints of beef and red plum, then mild woody hops to end.
Treacly end that mellows to buttery caramel and slighty salty, root beer linger. Medium, chewy, sticky.
Malty end of the style, with no hops noticable, and so cloys a bit. Sharps edges fade as it warms. If you're after straight malts, this should make you happy.
