Black stout color in the glass. Very fragrant with roast malt as well as the pie spice. Brewery says it's flavored with cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Not totally over-spiced, but plenty of it. I think this pumpkin-spice beer works better with a big black stout than the usual ambers. Lots of hops, which also helps fight down the cinnamon. Probably the most squash flavor of any pumpkin beer I've had, and the burnt malt gives it some character.

They called it Pumpkin Stout at the Local Habit beer dinner for San Diego Beer Week. Mike Hess rated this cask batch at 7.5% ABV.

A dark body with a tan head that sticks around for a bit

S-very nice oumkin spice but not as strong as I would like

T-very interesting. I get some chocolate even though it iis nonot on the ingredients. Not so much cinnamin

M-medium body and smooth

O-very solid brew. Don't know if i would have more than ononr glass...
