Bottle: Poured a reddish color ale with a small foamy head with minimal retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some oak and light tart cherry flavour. Taste is also dominated by loads of oak notes with light tart cherry and light sour notes as well. Light vinous notes can also be detected. Body is a bit light with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Not bad though a bit lighter then some of their other offerings with not as much vinous notes.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. This is the 2009 vintage.
The beer pours a murky brown-orange color with a tan head. The aroma is a mix of tart cherries and strawberries with some toffee. The flavor is more of the same, with a few additions. I get some cherries and strawberries, as well as some brown sugar, chocolate, dry cocoa and toffee. There is a little bit of tartness and a little bit of sweetness, with the two complimenting each other very nicely. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation.

22oz bottle - thanks to Sylvain for this
Appearance - Mostly clear burgundy colour with a small size fizzy off-white coloured head. There is a low amount of carbonation and there isn't much lacing. The head lasted for around 2 minutes.
Smell - Cherries, citric, wood
Taste & Mouth - There is a below average amount of carbonation and I can taste tart cherries, citric notes, and some wood. There was also a hint of chocolate. It ends with a bittersweet aftertaste.
Overall - Good not great.. there was a good balance of sweet and sour and the beer was very drinkable. The alcohol was well hidden and I'd drink this again.
