A - Poured a hazy amber with a thick, firm white head which sits resolutely atop the beer. No streamers or bubbles present. Nice start.
S - Big whack of delicious ripe tropical fruit initially. Once acclimatised, elements of lighter fluid/petrol can be picked up along with musk, which aren't so appealing.
T - Bit of a letdown. Quite vapid to begin with before musky biscuity/caramel comes through. A small background note of the fruit towards the end along with restrained herbal hops. A dry-ish, lengthy finish.
M - Medium body with carbonation that's just slightly too soft, which is surprising given the bottle conditioning.
D - Started so well with the appearance and burst of fruit on the nose. A letdown from thereon in. The flavour doesn't live up to the the quite punchy aroma. A reasonable sipper.

Bottle enjoyed in the alley by the brewery; poured into a goblet. This particular batch was listed at 6.1%.
A: Cloudy orange body with a thin, frothy white head. The cap disappears rather quickly, but a swirl of the glass creates a new head and this one sticks around better and leaves some nice lace. Not bad.
S: Heady hop aroma - lychee, passion fruit, grapefruit, and tennis ball felt. Crazy and enticing.
T: Ridiculously fruity hops. Ridiculous. All kinds of tropical fruit flavors, from pineapple and lime to passionfruit and kiwi. Dry, bitter, chalky finish. The finish is a bit rough, but the flavors are explosive.
M: Creamy, lively medium body. Solid.
O: Man Nelson Sauvin is an insane hop. Every time I drink a new beer with this hop I find yet another strange, yet fascinating fruit flavor. I can't wait for my local brewery to do an all-Nelson DIPA...
Cheers!

Pours pale gold with a very persistent head. The body is light-medium and moderately carbonated. The aroma is intensely fruity - gooseberry and grapefruit domiate. The flavour is similar, but less intense. Strong fruity hops dominate and present a smooth, well-integrated bitterness.
