Murky red color with a fluffy off white head that reduced to a creamy landscape in my glass.
Some sharp alcohol in the aroma. Very grassy/ lemony hops jump out. Caramel malt.
Moderately sweet caramel malt body. Lingering bitterness from the hops. Smooth drinking for the ABV, doesn't come out as much as in the nose. Very piney and grassy hop flavor. Creamy mouthfeel. Spicy/bready rye, could be more heavy handed. Hops sort of mask it.

Appearance: Poured a dark reddish brown, one finger offwhite head.
Smell: Tropical fruits and citrus, honey sweetness. Great smelling beer.
Taste: Sweet rye, honey and slight citrus. Finishes with moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Not as thin as expected, almost resinous feel.
Overall: I really enjoyed this beer, the sweetness balances well with the bitterness. A great example of a rye beer. Hoppy goodness. Didn’t realise the alcohol content until I was about to post the review. Alcohol content is hidden well.

Another London Brewers Collab. The Kernel, Redemption, Brodies, Dark Star et al I believe.
Dark red brown body, cloudy and opaque through the middle with nice red highlights at the extremities. A decent head forms slowly and fades slowly to a dusting of bubbles and some aight lace.
Full nose of candied honey and brown sugar, warming alcohols, prickling, peppery and grassy hops. A great balance of grain/hop/booze in the nose.
Medium full body with some nice dense, fine carbonation delivers a mouth full of roasted grainy goodness. Honey on grainy toast (rye bread I guess). The hops are peppery, dry and just bitter and with the very well hidden 8.9% ABV, provide a nice warming spice.
Another winner from the London lads.
