A: Very good. Walk in and its dimly lit with beer fridges to the left and beer shelves in front of you and some space off to the left. Pretty relaxed and chill.
Q:All was good. picked up a few beers and all were good.
S: Service was exceptional. The guy who was working the place was very enthusiastic and helpful. He took time to explain the selection and what his sbusiness had to offer. Pleasant and the girl working the counter was equally as nice and helpful.
S: Very good. Not sure, quite unsure if they had much as 99 Bottles but sure they had more than Bottleworks and other places. Very good selection overall.

really liked the store upon entrance - fair amount of people exploring shortly after opening on a Saturday morning. Dimly lit, with coolers and shelves galore.
There are so many fantastic Seattle beer stores, and its hard to say this joint really provides anything that the others dont, but if you live in west seattle, you probably feel better about living so damn far away from bottleworks.
No taps/growlers here - just bottles.
Great selection - everything you would expect in seattle with a fair amount of belgian stuff as well. Some winter seasonals seemed to last longer here - doggie claws, 4 calling birds, etc.
Some glassware and holiday gift packs to go as well.
nice service, with a rewards program.

This place has a great selection in the cooler, a great selection on the taps, they have cool beer events, and the staff is fun. They even brew, and their anniversary ale was delicious. Visit here. They’re a relatively new player in Seattle, and I tend to like a place like this more than Bottleworks. Their vibe is are a little more young and almost hipster, whereas Bottleworks has the typical beards-and-beer-bellies vibe. When we visited, they were setting up for a tasting that night. They served the same IPA on regular draft, nitro, cask, and randall.

This is an excellent beer place. I spent a fair amount of time talking with the owner, he pulled Older Viscosity from the back for me, he was clearly knowledgeable about beer and about his stock. Other staff was helpful and friendly. Selection is world class. They are the only place I've seen carrying Rodenbach Grand Cru in like six months.
Everything about this place is good. Prices are pretty much exactly what you would expect (slightly above grocery store prices on items they both carry).
I will definitely go back if I'm ever in the area.

Smart staff, friendly, not snobby (unless you want them to be!)...this is my place to go for new beers that I have not tried. There are always in-store events. Morgan (the owner) is a great guy and is always willing to suggest gems that you may not know about. Parking behind the store as well as on California usually available unless you go when everybody else goes places...pick up your beer before the weekend, it is much better that way. One of the last places in WA that tapped Pliny before Russian River left the state (or the state left them), hopefully temporarily only. Of the 3 places somewhat near my place that I love (Bottleworks & Super Deli Mart), the Beer Junction is the best overall. Prices are cheaper than most places despite how nice and clean the store is kept. Great glassware and beer merch keeps me short of extra money, which is fine. This is the best bottle shop I have ever been to in all of my years of searching for quality brews.

I believe this was the fourth bottle shop I ever went to. It was really early on in my craft beer journey, but I could still understand that this was special.
I’ll start by saying that the owner, Morgan, is a stand out guy. He loves beer, is very knowledgeable, and wants to help you just as much as he wants to make money.
Selection is as good or better than any in the area, and prices are right around where they should be. I like the arrangement, it’s organized by style of beer instead of brewer or region.
My only problem with this store is that it isn’t closer to me. It’s just a place that feels comfortable.

A nice, new beer store for the West Seattle crowd. A comparable selection to all the other elite bottle shops in Seattle. Beer is organized via style, in coolers that line the shop. There is also a nice recommended/reserve section. All bottles are bought as singles, so you can easily mix your own six pack to whatever your heart desires.
The two things that make this shop stand out are the service and their email list. Morgan, the proprietor, is there all the time. He is quick to greet you, and great for helping you out with suggestions and/or finding the beer you seek. He's also incredibly down to earth - the Beer Junction is the least pretentious craft beer shop I've been to in the area.
Also, their mailing list is top notch. If you're on it, you receive emails every other week, featuring upcoming events, new beers they have put into inventory, and when they receive a couple cases of Pliny.

Stopped in yesterday during a trip to West Seattle.
Not the biggest bottle shop, but well laid-out for the available space and had a nice friendly feel to it...no beer diva vibe here.
They have a pretty darn nice selection of domestic craft (didn't pay much attention to the foreign selection) beers across the spectrum of styles. I liked the way the inventory was arranged and bottles clearly labeled and priced.
Also had nice selection of some semi-rare bottles.
The guy working there (Morgan?) was extremely friendly. He took the time to point out where things were and asked some questions about what I like and then pointed out things I might be interested in. Even went in the back to bring out something I was looking for.
Overall I was very impressed by this shop and could see it being my go-to place if I lived closer. Well worth stopping at if you're in the area.

A: Enter right into the midst of a small but well-laid out space. Generally, lighter to darker beers in a clockwise rotation. Coolers at left, nice shelves at right. Organized and clean.
Q: All good product.
S: Greeted immediately; let them know it was my first time there, they gave me a rundown of the layout. Asked what I liked to drink. Offered to pull out a 2010 Boulevard BBQ to go with the 2011 I was eyeing. Very friendly and genuine.
S: Didn't have time to peruse it all, but did see a few things I hadn't seen elsewhere, and did leave with the 2011 BBQ and another bottle or two. Would like to go back for a closer look.
No beer on tap, but it sounds like they do tastings/events from time to time.
Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely make it a point to stop in again when in the neighborhood. Family friendly.

Love this place! So glad when they made the move and started serving drafts. The Thursday night tastings are great, the staff is awesome. The only reason I don't give 5's all around is due to the limited (lack of) seating in the drinking area. The bottle selection is top-notch, wish they offered a few more on tap. I'm sure you can only do so much with the space available. New show Brewdogs on Esquire gave them #1 craft beer bar in Seattle...#1 bottle shop in my opinion.
