Knee Deep’s Batch 138 India Pale Ale is brewed with three types of C hops and Simcoe, which gives this West Coast IPA an aroma that resembles a cat that has peed in a pine tree. Batch 138 finishes dry and crisp and is sure to leave you in hop euphoria.

A: The beer is clear dark yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles on the surface and a thick collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose along with some notes of pine.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has a light to moderate amount of bitterness along with hints of underlying caramel malts.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: Compared to most IPAs, the hop aromas, flavors and bitterness in this beer seem to be somewhat subdued and more in line with those of an APA. The beer is rather easy to drink.

Growler from Albertsons. Classic IPA, hoppy but allowing the malts to come through. Pours out a deep, clear golden with frothy head. Hoppy, citrus aroma. Taste is hops first, coming on quite strongly, with a nice malt backbone. The hops linger in the aftertaste for a while.

Light and crisp American ipa. Refreshing to have a beer that's does not taste too strong.
