Poured chilled in tall ale glass
A: moderate carbonation, small head, not much lacing at the end
S: tin-can aroma, not very inviting
T: very bitter and hoppy; chemical finish; Griffinbow-like (bad); vanilla, slightly boozy, not sweet
M: dead
It's a rather pedestrian IPA that I don't plan to buy again.

A nice beer shared a rate beer tasting.
This beer has a great nose, and that's what I liked the most: tons of dry fresh grass hops and citrus, totally an awesome west coast ipa in the smell. The taste has a nice grassy dry feel too, almost drinks like a pils, but it didn't explode with hops like the nose suggested, but it was still a very nice beer. The taste actually has some honey like sweetness to it too. The feel has a nice bitter finish, a good sparkle over the mid palate of hops and sweetness, a touch of baguette.
Overall a nice beer, it wouldnt be hard to take down a pint of this!

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a golden orange with a 1finger off white head. Moderate amounts of retention and plenty of lacing.
S: Super floral, some bubblegum. A hint of pine/resin and some malt sweetness.
T: Close to the nose. Floral, bubblegum and hints of pine/resin and malt sweetness.
M: Medium Body and carbonation.
O: Overall this is an decent west coast IPA. It's a little light one the nose and palate, but still excellent in flavor.

Had on tap 12/3 at Stout
Served in a pint glass
A: This beer pours a light hazy golden color. One finger of frothy head sits on top. Head retains nicely leaving big sticky sheets of lacing on the glass.
S: Nose is floral, piney notes, with a light bready malt background.
T: Taste is big pine notes in the forefront, earthy notes come in to the middle with a touch of biscuit, bready malt flavoring. FInish is a slightly odd blend of floral and citrus hops.
M: Medium body, medium carbonation, dry feel at first with a sticky finish.
O: Goes down ok, somewhat tasty, not too filling, decent kick, ok representation of style. The finish of this beer just didn't do it for me, the floral and citrus notes just didn't seem to be blended as well as they could have been.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium coppery amber with a fine half finger white head with good retention and lacing. Nice aroma of citrus rind, pinapple and piney hops. Flavor follows aroma, grapefruit and citrus rind, with pine and a hint of herbal hops, finishing with a strong, lingering hop bitterness. A slightly sweet malt base supports the hops well. Perhaps a bit astringent in the finish, but again well supported by fresh hops flavor. Medium bodied with a nice mouth feel. Nicely integrated and well made IPA.

A - Pours a fairly clear amber-orange with a finger of frothy white head atop. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some nice lacing.
S - Aroma is a mix of pine, floral, and citrus hops with some sweet caramel and biscuit malts.
T - Starts off with grapefruit and citrus hops with some bitterness and some sweet caramel malts. Through the middle, some pine and floral hops come through with some more bitterness and some biscuit malts. The finish is a mix of pine and grapefruit hops with some sweet caramel and bready malts.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry and bitter finish.
D - Very drinkable. Nice IPA with a good malt and hop balance and a nice hop profile.

picked up at total wine this morning. bomber to snifter, no freshness date
pours a very dark amber, one of the darkest ipas I've ever seen with a finger of head which has died down into a thin lace in the time it took me to search this beer and start writing my review.
smells pretty good. strong hops, grape fruit, pine, with citrus undertones coming through at the end. alcohol and mild malts are also faintly present.
taste of almost pure hop with a light roasted after taste. many of the fruits in the smell don't translate well in the taste, not that I don't love the taste of over powered hops, there's not much complexity going on with the taste. very bitter, very drinkable
mouth feel is up to par. at 75 ibus the bomb of hops spikes on your palate. mild carbonation, goes down smooth and creamy. again, very drinkable
I have pretty mixed feelings on this one. On the one hand I love a strong over hopped ipa, however when all there are are hops, it makes the beer bland and uninteresting. If you're looking for a kick in the mouth I'd recommend it, and though I plan to buy it again it probably wont be in the near future. It is however a nice homage to the glorious hop

22oz into a pint
A - Pours a light orange color. Mostly clear, little hazing but not much for carbonation showing. Head formation is pearly white, a bit of lacing.
S - A very solid hop nose, west coast all the way. Starts off citrus, floral, and then hits you with a pretty spicy resinous note. Awfully bitter.
T - Starts off lightly citrusy, sweet from the hops with a bit of malt backbone. Brings on more maltiness but then turns way bitter. Then the worst, it gets husky and almost astringent - puckering. Finishes with a oily bitter sticky taste.
M - Light bodied and stronger carbonation - could use a little more balance. Finishes as I said with some oiliness. No alcohol warmth.
O/D - More filling due to the stronger carbonation. ABV is high but workable for the style. I was so liking this beer until whatever it is in the finish hit me. Perhaps I had a bad one.

This is easliy the best Knee Deep beer I have tried....not sayin a whole lot.Poured into an imperial nonic a somewhat dull medium golden with a tight formed half finger white head that settled slowly into a frothy mass.Sharp citric hops along with a pretty intense vine-like note,a little booze thrown in.Fuller creamy body to the beer, leafy and citric hops over top of a tasty lightly sweet malt base, the body is the best part of the flavor profile in my mind. There is good hop complexity on the palate, the chinooks give off a real nice sharp/spicy element, and the body is fantastic, much better than I expected.
