I make it to iTap as often as I can which ends up being around once a week. I'll go there on a calm Friday night to sit and chill with some friends, or on a Saturday afternoon to bring a pizza with me (they don't serve food) and eat lunch and enjoy some new beer they probably have on draft. Or even a place to enjoy a game some night during the week. I think they have 40 rotating drafts and 500+ bottles to choose from. I've always had a great experience with the staff as well and the majority of the servers know a great deal about beer themselves so that's always a plus. If you're in the area I suggest making a stop in here, it's the biggest and typically best selection of micro brews in the area. If only 2 or 3 kegs of a specialty brew makes it to the city, most likely iTap is one of the bars that lands these kegs from distributors (i.e. BCSCS, BCSVS, FW14, Abacus, KBS, Stone '08 BBA IRS, etc.).

There is no place better, to enjoy a craft beer in STL. Over 500 bottles and, over 40 rotating on tap, it is all a beer lover could ask for. The pizzeria next store is actually connected with the building so, they will bring it right over to you. Went there for my 31st birthday as a co-birthday party with my friend. Just wish my wife liked it as much as I did.

iTap in Soulard is one of my favorite places to drink in St. Louis. With 40+ beers on tap and 500 by the bottle, you'll have no trouble finding something to like.
It's a fairly large place with room to breathe and plenty of large screens filled with sports of the day.
The selection of beers? If it's available in Missouri you'll find it here...especially if it's rare and/or very good. I've found Lagunitas Sucks and Green Flash West Coast IPA from the cask and Deschutes Abyss and Black Butte XXIII on tap.. Incredible!
No food is available from the bar but Epic Pizza is right next store and Llewellyns Pub is across the street. Bring it in, they don't mind.
A must visit for visitors and St. Louisans.

ITAP as it's known is a beer bar. Make no mistake about it, no food, just beer. Incredible selection of taps that change often and if I'm not mistaken just about every bottle of beer distributed in MO can be found in thier coolers, purchased and drank on premises. They allow food to be ordered or brought in from nearby restuarants, if your hungry. They play host to many cool beer events. The Soulard location is in a cool, older part of town, just a few blocks from the AB brewery. The inside has a lot more character than Chesterfield, with a lounge area right when you walk in the front, and a really nice patio area with a fountain using tap handles as the water spickets. If you're visiting from out of town, and are staying closer to the city, I'd suggest this location over Chesterfield because of the atmosphere, plus, you're closer to many other brewpubs and bars, too.

I refer to this place as 'my living room' because it is where I want to relax at the end of my day (or would if I was just a little closer). I have even been known to go there with my laptop in the afternoon to have a pint while I do some work. The staff is great. Very helpful and friendly. I love the space and it is perfect on a cool summer evening with the big door open. They don't serve food, but Epic is next door and has really good pizza and sandwiches that you can bring in (they will even walk it next door for you and pick up the dishes later). They have an extensive list of draft beers. There is always something interesting as well as plenty that I am happy to drink anytime. They have a large bottle list as well, but I am always as happy as Larry to have the drafts.

My wife took me on a beer trip to St. Louis and several hop heads suggested we go to the International Tap House. It was a tremendously pleasing experience and I would highly recommend it.
The atmosphere is simple and is solely concerned with the beer. This place makes no apologies for centering their establishment on the drinking of fine brews. Expect to see people discussing their beer selections or merely watching a game on the many televisions throughout the bar. You can sit at a bar, booth, table or even grab a spot on a comfy couch.
The excellent quality of service is very important to mention. Regarding the staff there is not a beer snob in sight. Every staff member is knowledgeable and desires to assist you in finding a beer you'll love. Whether you are a seasoned beer vet or a bud light newbie you will find the staff extremely helpful and willing to educate.
Being from a smaller city in Arkansas I can't provide an accurate gauge for the Tap House's selection. However, when I looked at their wall of 40 taps and fridges filled with over 500 different bottles from all over the world I was dumbfounded. They take pride in circulating their extensive inventory as well as whats on tap and so I'm sure their selection rivals most any tap house.
Overall this is a fantastic place to enjoy a favorite brew or for finding something completely new. If you're in St. Louis it is a must stop. Cheers!

World class, in a nutshell. 40 taps, 500 bottles, and the bottles are available for consumption on site at bar prices or to go at retail prices. No food, but you can bring it in.
Spacious and comfortable with lots of exposed brick, and a long bar. Some high tables with chairs and booth like seating in some places, and some little corner hideaway coveys with booth like zones and low tables. A few larger oversized/overstuffed chairs in other places. Lots of flat screen TV's, but the sound was off earlier, and kept low during the football game so it wouldn't overwhelm those aren't into it.
The menu is in a thick binder with some suggestions "if you normally drink BMC, try this" etc, for folks who are disoriented by or unfamiliar with the awesome selection. There was also some basic beer education materials before the draft and bottle lists.
A 5 brew sampler paddle cost $13, and I think they were 4 oz samples, but the price was the same for Mikkeller and the Beast as it was for more readily available and less costly brews. That was the only price that could remotely be considered pricey, though I think it is fair for what you get. A 10oz Expedition or 12oz Oak Yeti were $6. Everything we had was good and clean, served in proper glassware and pretty close to proper temp. The selection was super solid across the board, with quite a few relatively rare or special brews. The night we were there (a Monday), half the taps were half priced after 8.
It would be silly not to check this place out if you had the chance.

Stopped in here last night with my boys for a few brews. Not my first time here, but we stayed for a while and thoroughly enjoyed it. Cool historic location in Soulard, great atmosphere inside. Last night (Friday night) they has some live entertainment and the outdoor patio area was extremely pleasant.
The selection here is off the charts for St. Louis. I believe it is the largest number of rotating taps (along with the Chesterfield location) in the city. Bottle selection is incredible. It would be hard to imagine not finding a beer you like here.
Service was top notch. Our first server gladly brought us a few samples to try and served up my orders promptly.
Outstanding place to have few beers.

International Tap House (iTap) is finally in the city. I am never out in Chesterfield, nor would I want to make the 35 minute drive out there just to try it and have to drive back drunk. The new place is a nice rehab of an old Soulard building with a modern interior and nice patio on the side. The tap list is ever-changing- 8 new ones were added the day I first visited- and the bottle selection is easily the best of any bar in the city. If you can legally sell any particular brewer’s stuff in Missouri, this place has it. The bartenders seemed friendly and knowledgeable. They don’t serve food here, which sucks, and they don’t have any wine or liquor, which doesn’t matter to beer drinkers here. You can order food from outside for delivery, though, so they keep some menus at the bar. Great place, and I will be visiting here a lot.

Visiting this place now 3 times, each time was a completely different. Knowing this, all of these categories for Rating this place will vary...
The atmosphere is always great! First time it was fulled with students studying and library geeks. Almost every person had a book in their hands! This was right when they first opened the place. Then, two weeks ago, I went to their Sunday Grand Opening and they tapped both a Schlafly and Urban Chestnut Cask. This event was insane and filled with party people. Great vibe everytime with live music and great people!
Service is always good but if busy, can take quite a while to get your next beer. I suggest sitting out on the patio or at a bar table because the servers are VERY prompt. Nothing against the bartenders/managers on-duty, but they have people drooling at their tap handles with questions about each one usually.
Like the Chesterfield location, their Tap List and bottles continually rotate and always offer multiples of each style!
Pick up a Passport and get started! You get discounts on beer throughout the week and can earn prizes while simply enjoying different beers.
