We visited twice during our trip. I'll echo the other comments here: vibe is low key, services is friendly and knowledgeable, bar is small but cozy, nice selection of 8 beers on tap, and an even better bottle list. Service was excellent, especially the first night as it was not busy at all. Seemed to be a mix of locals and tourists. Attached to a hotel. I'd definitely recommend a visit if you're in Bruges.

Made two visits on the day we spent in Brugge. Got there right when it opened and it was me and a buddy at the bar and two small groups who came and went for lunch and a beer. Impressive bottle list including a few vintages of Hommage. Bar tender was friendly and helpful. As usual, everything was served in proper glasses. Nice a low key spot. Came back that night after 10 and the place was full but not packed. Sat at the bar again and enjoyed a few more before calling it a night. Friendly staff again but they couldnt chat as much due to the crowd. Still a pretty low key vibe, especially given that we had just come from Le Trappiste. Easily my favorite bar of the four we went to in Brugge and would certainly recommend it to anybody who makes it to town.

Visited on the 13th of September.
As most good beer places in Bruges, Rose Red is pretty small, about 6 seats at the bar at maybe 30-40 seats at tables. Vibe is pretty quiet and laidback, and the place seems to draw a diverse crowd, from locals to regular tourists to beer nerds.
Beer selection is extensive, about 8 beers on tap and a sizeable bottle list. Rest assured, you will find something you like. Service is swift, polite and, as all the good Belgian places, very knowledgeable.
Rose Red is located in the very heart of Bruges and is well worth a visit!

Visited on 11/8/2015 - it's basically down the street and around the corner from De Biertempel. Not a large establishment by any means - a small bar area (maybe 5-6 stools if I recall) and a small number of tables. The five of us took up an entire corner of the bar. The taplist was fairly limited and not particularly impressive; however, the bottle list was quite extensive. I enjoyed some De Dolle and De Struise beers during my visit - my father-in-law fell in love with Black Albert. All served in appropriate glassware and lambic/gueuze were served in baskets. Prices were a bit higher than the other establishments in the area; however, there were some rarities on the menu - they had Zenne Y Frontera for 69 euro, but I couldn't pull the trigger. Food was limited to cheese and charcuterie - nothing mind-blowing. Service was prompt initially, but refills were a bit on the slow side. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town; however, it wasn't my favorite place.

Visited many times in August 2015 and hopefully much more again.
Definitely one of my favourite place in Brugge.
First of all is the staff. They are always ready to help with the selection or whatever, very sociable in a good way.
Always liked this kind of vibe: quiet and leisurely.
You can expect a very wide range of "belgians" (with some very rares). Unfortunately there was no Westvleteren Trappist only :-)

I really enjoyed having a few beers here. Service was prompt & friendly, beer list was outstanding. I like the diversity of beer more than most Brugge beer bars.
A bit more expensive, but more to my liking.

Very laid back, was pretty empty when we were there. Very European cafe feel. Quaint and cosy. Off the main Bruges traffic area. Our server was the owner and was very knowledgable.

I liked this place quite a bit. I got there when they were supposedly open, according to the sign on the door, but no one was there except the cleaning crew. Ooookay. So I trundled around town for about an hour and came back to see that there was in fact now someone behind the bar, and a few patrons enjoying their drinks. The place is rather small, with a bar that seats maybe 10 people, and a few tables. Dozens of "roses" hang from the ceiling. Seeing how it was not very busy, the service was fine, and the guy who waited on us knew a lot about beer worldwide, and even recognized a few names I dropped when I said I was from the Philly area.
Beer selection was very nice. Unlike some of the other bars I've been to over here, they actually HAD the beers that were listed on their menu. So that was a plus. Opted for a sampler flight of 4 of the 5 the beers on tap and a somewhat expensive, yet satisfying bottle of FF. They do actually have some snack-type food here, meat and cheese plates, and the like, so it's a good place for a satisfying beer session. Probably my favorite place in Bruges.

Wonderful little cafe in Bruges.
Just a little bit off the beaten path, is this cozy and pretty little cafe. I visited in late October, so unfortunately we didn't get to sit outside on the nice little terrace out back.
Service was good on both of my visits, pleasant, prompt and knowledgeable.
Selection is quite good, as are most places in Bruges. Very long detailed bottle list, heavy on Trappist beers, and about 6 taps, luckily for me, Fou Foune was on draft at the time, so that was what I ordered both times.
We also had a small bite to eat here, (menu is limited) but the soup, bread, sausages, and cheese were all quite tasty.
Prices were about the same as anywhere else in Bruges.
