Picked up this celebratory Anniversary beer from it's namesake...Tasty Beverage.
A-Poured a light golden yellow with a slight hazy tint and an approx. 2.5 finger head that lingered around.
S-Not too overwhelming on the nose, but i'm picking up a little lemon basil and sage aroma as well as a little spice characteristic.
T-Follows the nose but flavors amplified. The spice character is at the forefront followed by floral and basil notes. Ends with a nice crisp lemon zest that makes this beer really refreshing. As I drink more and the beer warms up a bit I start to notice the sage lingering a bit in between sips.
M-Above average carbonation and light/medium body.
O-A solid beer from one of the best and more experimental breweries in the area, but this beer taste very similar to the summer basil that they offer. Hopefully they will turn this into an annual beer that varies year to year.

Appearance: Fullsteam has mastered the Belgian look on this beer, pouring a with a massive head that squats atop the cloudy golden liquid; the retention is impressive leaving lots of clumpy lacing behind
Smell: The Belgian yeasty phenols and the lemon verbena buttress the aroma, bringing a lemony/spicy herbal tone; it is the sage, however, that leaves the final impression
Taste: The bready malts, up front, establish a base, with the lemon verbena and the sage quickly adding character; after the swallow, the phenols build, adding a spicy dimension though all of the flavors complement one another in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body (somewhat creamy) with buoyant carbonation
Overall: Rather like a cross between a Belgian Pale and a Wit, this is a really fine beer that really shows off the skills of the brewer

22 oz bottle from Tasty. Gift from Rob and Casey.
Appearance: Hazy yellow. Quite a nice, tightly bubbled, white head with excellent staying power. Surprisingly little lacing.
Smell: Dry, spicy Belgian yeast. Pale malt. Some light fruit and citrus, but not a lot of sweet aroma. The nose here is all about the yeast, and if the bottle didn't tell me it was spiced, I would assume all the spicy aromas were yeast derived.
Taste: Well, its dry, yeasty, and spicy. Lots more lemony flavor and considerable herbal spice, presumably from the sage. More pale malt sweetness in the flavor than the smell. Some bitterness in the finish.
Mouthfeel: Fine carbonation in this beer gives a soft, almost creamy feel. Medium body, dry finish.
Overall: I think I would really like this a lot if they just made agood, straightforward Belgian pale ale with a flavorful yeast and quality malt. Instead its got extra garbage added that does it no favors. Its still a good beer, but come on...

Served from bottle into a Duck-Rabbit nonic. Poured a hazy golden yellow-orange with a four finger white head that subsided to two extremely slowly. Maintained phenomenal lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, citrus, lemon zest, earth, spice, and subtle fruit. The flavor was of sweet malt, herbs, spices, fruit, earth, sage, and oregano. It had a light feel on the palate with high carbonation. Overall this was a pretty decent brew. There was really quite a bit going on in this one that kept your palate intrigued throughout. The aroma was really nice and complex for the style if I'm honest. The flavor was complex as well with more of a focus on spices. Definitely worth trying if you ever see it out and about.

This was a bomber poured into a snifter.
It pours a light yellow with good carbonation. Small head with tiny bubbles. It smells "belgiumy". It tastes less belgiumy and has citrus and other flavored as an after taste. It has a medium body for a Belgium. I would recommend.

A - murky orange with a big soft, white head
S - wheat, faint spices
T - sage, spices, pepper, belgian yeast, alcohol, maybe coriander or cinnamon in the finish
M - medium bodied, well carbonated
This is a nice Belgian pale ale. It has some very nice subtleties. It's complex because it's intricate. It kept me interested. This was a nice offering from Fullsteam.

@ Tasty Beverage
Tasty Beverage's 1st Anniversary beer. Brewed with buckwheat, lemon verbena, and green sage.
Hazy golden yellow capped with a fluffy white head. A really nice aroma....pale malt, lemon, anise, and spicy yeast. I just keep sticking my nose in the glass, which is a good sign. Similar flavors: yeasty spice, herbal notes, lemon, soft pils malt. A little drying in the finish and quite refreshing. I hear they're bottling a small amount of this and I look forward to getting my hands on one. Definitely one of the best beers I've had from Fullsteam.
