Thin head on a very dark brown body with minimal light getting through. Excellent lacing. Aroma of oak, whiskey, dark chocolate, caramel and hint of toffee. Very nice balance of the base beer and oak/whiskey with each complimenting the other and neither dominating. Dark fruit notes of plum and raisin. May be the best beer offered here. Light carbonation and medium to full chewy body and a little bit dry of a finish. Only down side is this one is a bit boozy. Its drinkable from start to finish though.

appearance: deep dark black, nearly ebony, loaded head

smell: loaded coffee, and sublte chocolate aromas, and huge vanilla bursting

taste: wow, more vanilla on the nose, but you can still taste it. lots of dark cocoa and coffee

mouthfeel: full bodied stout

drinkability: This is a wow beer and I would put this up against any impy stouts on the market. It's that good! I would love to see this beer in the winter time. ; )
