Enjoyed on 2/12
Light in color, almost a medium amber; minimal lacing; good hop odor, light though...likely a reflection of the moderate ibu number; good simple IPA in flavor; nothing overly complex, but well-balanced; drinkable in doses. I enjoyed this after all the sweetness I drank here.

not my favorite strange brew. pours a perfectly clear light copper color with a minimal white head. smells like citric hops and english malts, nothing particularly appetizing or exciting about it. flavor is equally blah to me, not as hoppy as i thought it should be, and not nearly worthy of such a clever name. thought the feel was off, quite thin in body and flat in carbonation. this brew could use a serious pick me up in mouthfeel. overall its just not a great ipa, especially in denver where so many good ones exist. hopefully this will improve in time, but i got more hop character out of there american pale ale. am i missing something?

A bronze with an amber hue, a small white head, and no lacing. A rather unimpressive aroma and flavor; floral, bready, and a touch of grass. Flavor felt dilute, kinda watered down. Mild to moderate bitterness. Medium bodied, kinda lifeless body. Overall, the first beer by Strange Brewing that disappointed me.

On tap at Strange. Darker orange, almost amber. Very dull smelling like a hint of malt but just boring. The flavor was just as lackluster, I wondered if it was supposed to be English style. The best way I could think to describe this beer is a shitty version of Full Sail IPA which is sort of a blah IPA in its own right.

Serves cold in a pint glass, IPAphany is a slightly hazy copper Orange color with creamy head. It settles quickly but leaves some nice lacing.
Aroma is hoppy but not as assertive as I would expect from the style. In fact, it can't compete with the popcorn machine in the room, unfortunately.
Flavor is nice with a rich caramel sweetness providing the backdrop for a strong citrusy hop bitterness. It tastes similar to a beer I made with Falconers Flight hops... Wonder if that's what they used?
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and nicely carbonated on tap.
Overall a good beer from this upstart brewery. I look forward to trying others soon.

First had: on tap at their brewpub / tasting room
Poured a clear copper color with a small white head. Nose of citrus and pine hops, with a sweet, biscuity malt base. Good balance in the taste, not too hoppy, not too sweet; caramel, citrus hops, and a dry piney finish. Light-medium body, and quite a drinkable IPA. Not hoppy enough for hop-heads though.

I had this one on tap at Strange Brewing earlier this afternoon. Poured from the tap a clear copper color with a good off-white head. Aromas of earth, citrus and biscuit. On the palate, this one was medium bodied, with flavors of citrus, earth and biscuit.
